A Tree-less Tuesday

The Christmas trees are coming down - one each day - but it's the festive lights in cold dark January that she misses more than anything.

Before the tree could be put away,  a puzzle needed to be finished.   Mom says that this was a witch of a puzzle and not as easy as it looks.  Hey, Mackie - you picked out a real toughie for her☺

She gets sidetracked very easily at this time of year and she found a picture of her mom on her very first birthday♥

Happy Tuesday, everybuddy!

Love ya lots♥

Molly

  1. I've been watching the neighbors take down all the Christmas decorations in the last few days. It looks much gloomy outside indeed.

Have a woof woof Happy Tuesday, Miss Molly. My best to your mom. ♥

Just as my decs go up on First Advent, so they come down on a set date too... the day after 12th night (or Epiphany - Jan 6th). I do tend to keep the candle tray out, though. No harm in keeping those lights lit! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  3. Looks like a lot of blue and white in that puzzle. Mom has Dad working a tough one that she did a few years ago. It's all striped candy.

  5. Nice puzzle once again! Our tree is long gone. Once Christmas is done, Mom says that is enough since we have had it since the day after Thanksgiving. It will come again later this year :)

  6. Our trees are all packed away too. The house looks so dull and dreary without all the decorations. But we are sure there will be another holiday to brighten us up.

That is a whopper of a puzzle. Mom is working on another of those Bgraamiens ones that are like a kaleidoscope design. Baffling but fun. She just finished a Wentworth wooden one that was full of "whimsical" shapes. A lot of fun but tough.

  7. We miss seeing all the pretty lights and ornaments too. Our mom takes her time with taking them down so we are still enjoying them.

  10. We love the picture in the puzzle but can imagine it would be hard with all the white on it. We too have taken down our decorations and I hate it until I get used to everything being so plain again. We have left up a few white lights in our den which is our office and my kitchen, so it is not so drab. We love the picture of your Mom on her first Birthday. We hae lots of those types of pictures which need to be put into albums, another job I am going to get around to eventually!!!!!! Happy Tuesday. Hugs & Love, Susie & Treacle xxxx

  13. We might just leave our little ceramic Christmas tree on top of the TV shelf in place until the days get brighter around here. This evening it's dark and dreary and a storm is coming. (Typical WNY winter days)

  14. Lulu: "We never even had a tree here. We never have a tree. I don't know why not."
Charlee: "It's a shame. We were really hoping for a tree this year so that we could climb it."
Chaplin: "And knock off ornaments and then bat them around."
Lulu: "Okay, and now I know why we never have a tree here."
