We need to explain~
Mom must have worded the news about Mackie, Jett and Teddy wrong. They will not be going anywhere. They will all be staying in their home to live out their days. At least, that is the plan at this time. We are so sorry for any confusion.
On another note - our Butterfly bushes - Miss Molly and Miss Violet and doing wonderfully!
But look at poor, Miss Ruby. She made it through the winter just fine and she actually was beginning to bloom but thing went downhill for her. Mom isn't certain yet if she wants to replace her or choose a different bush or do nothing. She has been cut down to the ground as it was too sad to leave her in this state.Happy Monday, everybuddy!Love ya lots♥
Molly
ooh we are so glad there is everything ok with the two.... and we are so sorry for your ruby... maybe after the cutting it starts to go back to life?
ReplyDeleteWe have a couple plants we never really liked that are not coming back really this year. Mom is thinking to rip them out and put in something different next year. She isn't into gardening and all the landscaping plants drive her nuts. She just wants them to grow without much work. Sorry your plants are not feeling well as we know you do really enjoy caring for your plants.
ReplyDeleteOh, we are pleased that Mackie, Jett and Teddy will be staying at home.
ReplyDeleteHari OM
ReplyDeleteThat is sweet news for Mackie and co... sorry about Ruby bush though. Just not her spot, it seems... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
YAY for Mackie, Jett and Teddy staying in their furEVER homes.
ReplyDeleteMolly our neighbor has a buttie pillar bush by his drive way it is not happy either
I think maybe it hot too much hot afternoon sun.
Hugs Cecilia
Glad the furbabes will remain in their forever homes. Thanks for clearing that up.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the Ruby bush will come back. It could happen.
You're so cute, Miss Molly.
I linked this post to Awww Mondays.
Have a woof woof day and week. My best to your mom. ♥
Your two butterfly bushes look great but it appears that something must have destroyed Miss Ruby's roots to make her look so bad.
ReplyDeleteLulu: "Ooh, yeah, Ruby Plant was definitely looking the worse for wear ... Some of our Dada's prickly pointy plants also were made very sad this winter and needed to be cut back, because of all the cold and rain!"
ReplyDeletePoor Ruby, Mama has that kind of luck with almost anything she plants.
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy and Sunny
We are also glad the pups are staying put. Oh my, poor Ruby.
ReplyDeleteSeeing Molly on a Monday is always a great sight to see!
ReplyDeleteH&K&W,
Willow
PeeEssWoo: We think about your mom and your sissy often - please fuzz 'em for us!
At least da butterfly bushes are doing good.
ReplyDeleteTry to bend one of Ruby's stems. If it is still pliable it is still alive. If it breaks Ruby has gone to the Bridge. Also scratch the stem to see if it is green inside. If it is dead it will be black and brittle throughout. If it is still alive it could be a problem with watering. Put you finger in the soil near it. If it is bone dry it needs to be watered more, if it is wet it is getting watered too much. It could also be entering dormacy and bounce back next year.
ReplyDeleteHello Molly and mom, we've been away from blogger and just learnt a very sad news of Mackie's dad. We're so sorry for your loss. Sending you hugs and kisses. Juno and mom
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to Ruby Bush, happens to a lot of things I plant. They last one season then fade away.
ReplyDeleteHello Molly 💗, your pretty collar matches with the butterfly bushes. I popped by to check on mommy, and found out she has adopted Mackie, Jett and Teddy. Mommy is such a strong, kind, loving person, God must love her! I hope days are kind to your home while you miss Geo. Tender hugs.💗
ReplyDeleteI am so glad the other two bushes are doing well, it is always strange when one does not survive. Perhaps it will come back next year. Molly you look very pretty sat there. Hugs & Love, Susie & Coco xx
