Molly Monday

We got two inches of snow Saturday night into Sunday morning.   The weather peeps said to stay tuned for round two.   We were expecting between five and eight inches of snow that never happened.  Our accumulation was three to four inches at the most.

Mom says that for me, it worked out for the best.   The temps here are 32 degrees F and the snow is a wet and heavy one.    She made me wear my boots to keep my feets warmer.
She tried to engage me in play.   Jumping for my tennis ball is no longer allowed - not that I could do it anyway and certainly not in boots!
She says that the canine cognitive dysfunction has change me.    I was tripping and stumbling over my own feet most of the time and we were only outside about ten minutes before I was asking to go back inside.
Landlord Bob decided that the arborvitaes needed pruning.   Really - in January?!
I hope the next snowfall is softer and a lighter weight.   Maybe it would be more fun for me.
Happy Monday, everybuddy~

Love ya lots♥
Molly

  1. So sorry you are having such troubles. Mom says for all creatures getting old stinks, but it is better than the alternative. We only got a dusting again, but by the end of the week we may finally have a few inches. Take care of yourself.

  2. Oh Molly, Gail and I hope too that the next snowfall is more paw-friendly. We hate to think of you tripping over your own feet. Please take care.

We had some of the wet heavy stuff for a morning, and it might look pretty but is is yukky to walk in - so you have my simpawthees, Molly darlin'. Also for that ageing thing. That's pretty yukky too. As one old to another, hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  4. Sorry your snow is not the soft fluffy kind. Most of the snow we have is very "wet" and it turns to slush very quickly. At least you had a little bit to play in even if it was only for a short while. Stay warm both. Hugs & Love, Susie & Coco xx

  5. Bummer on your totals - Should have gone to visit Beans and ZL in Master-Chew-Sits - they got a foot !

We think we got 1.5" - and tomorrow we are to get LOTS of rain - so we may have some flash flooding -

    Stay khomfy with your mom!

  6. We got some rain, but not that much. Been a pretty mild winter here. Cold, but mild. I'm ready for spring.

You're so adorable, Miss Molly. I linked this post to Awww Mondays.

Have a woof woof day and week. My best to your mom. ♥

  9. We can't even imagine wearing boots...Mama says you did better than we would have in them!
Here's hoping for some lightweight snow!

  10. That heavy wet snow is no fun to try to walk in. We got about 6 inches here and the prediction was for 2-3!

  11. It's gotta be hard to coordinate those paws in those boots sweet Molly so you be careful out there.

  13. You look so cool in boots! Levi hated wearing them too and would only walk backward in them.

  14. Molly, we are happy to see you can out and enjoy the snow even if it isn't for very long. We got six inches of heavy, wet snow overnight, and it is bitterly cold too. Lightning really loves to be outside, but Mom makes him come in. She doesn't think that cold is good for his bones.

  15. Wet and heavy snow is hard for everyone, I hope Mr.Sun comes and melt them all quickly. It's ok to take things nice and slow, Molly. I’m just very glad that that you have the nicest mom to take care of you.

    You rock those boots, Molly!💗💗
