We are joining Rosy and Sunny this week for Nature Friday!!
We have ice, ice and more ice! See that red arrow way down there? That is the street at the end of our driveway. Because we got a very small amount of snow and then sleet and rain on top of it, the driveway didn't get cleared so we're here until the ice thaws.
Without these ice cleats on mom's shoes............We wouldn't even be getting outside safely! This is the area that got shoveled and then mom ran out of steam and the ice that melted on Wednesday (and it wasn't much) froze overnight.
It's a slippery walk but I'm getting the hang of it.Yes - I had to get a couple of rolls in☺
When you see me with angel Mitch's coat on, it means it's a cold day~
We did find beautiful blue Juniper berries in the back yard.
Happy Friday, everybuddy!
Love ya lots♥

ReplyDeleteYou made the most of the limited outing, Molly and that is all that be asked of you!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Ice is no fun, but our Mom has been wearing her Icebug shoes and boots since she broke her ankle six years ago. She can walk on solid ice like it is asphalt. Glad you got out at least a little bit. We still have barely any snow and next week it will be way too warm again. A sad winter in Minnesota this year.
ReplyDeleteHi Molly, you look so smart in angel Mitch's coat. It has made me feel better about always having to wear Bouncing Bertie's hand-me-downs!
ReplyDeleteHappy Nature Friday.
Toodle-oo!
Nobby.
that is a super coat... like the coat of superman... we agree ice is a challenge, the mama is in high alert since her hellbow-venture
ReplyDeleteStay safe and warm Molly and Mom - our Babblers says 1" - 3" / 2" - 4" for us - and since we have The KhrossTrek, we don't clear our driveway - we just zoooom thru!
ReplyDeleteYet 50's next week!

Snow falling here today, but falling atop ice. Y'all stay safe, tho it can be hard to do ... Molly looks so adorable in Mitch's winter coat (add some ear muffs!!!)
ReplyDeleteStay safe out there!!!
ReplyDeleteLulu: "Rolling in the snow! That looks like so much fun!"
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, our Dada is saying something about 'Life of Brian' and 'He hath brought forth juniper berries!' and 'Of course it brought forth juniper berries, it's a juniper bush!' I have no idea what he's talking about."
Charlee: "Monty Python."
Java Bean: "Who is that?"
Charlee: "I don't know. But whenever Dada says nonsense like that you're always safe guessing Monty Python."
First of all Pardon any typos I've just returned from the eye doc. My eyes were dilated for the exam and are still returning to normal. Good news I can see the red arrow and your sweet happy face.
ReplyDeleteLove you lots and
Hugs Cecilia
HAppy Friday Molly, we are glad you got out in the snow for a little bit. Stay warm!!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy ans Sunny
Ice is no fun to have to walk on. Your mom is smart to have those spikey things for her shoes. We are getting snow today and tomorrow so we expect Millie to get a good roll in it too. Stay safe, Molly.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of you Molly ~ fun! So glad Mom has the ice cleats ~ might have to get a pair myself ~ hugs,
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

ReplyDeleteMolly, you look so pretty in your snow outfit. Brrrrr!
ReplyDeleteSnow is just icing on winter's cake.
ReplyDeleteHi hi hi! Ojo here! Hurray for Snow Rolling! Also, your jacket has YOU on it!

PS thanks for your sweet comment on Speckie's post!
Oh no, icy isn't nice.😫 I’m glad you are walking safe and mom has ice cleats, be careful still. You look warm and protected with Mitch's coat, Mitch must be so glad that you have it.
ReplyDeleteWe're doing ok with a recent snowfall, so hi-five! Julia
