Nature Friday

 We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~

The hail storm made quite a mess in both people's yards and in the street.  Dying green leaves are down everywhere and mom says it smells wonderful!   

You will notice that I'm wearing a Halti head collar.   Mom is fed up with me pulling her along on our walks.   Yesterday was my best day yet wearing this evil thing.  I love my walks and I have to learn to put up with it until mom can trust me in a harness and not pull.  We will get there~

The Sedum is coming into bloom~

This is JewelWeed and mom says that it's the absolute hardest flower to photograph.  Her pictures always seem to come out blurry and it's really just the prettiest flower.

At home, our Rose of Sharon's are still flowering away!

This is her latest puzzle.   She said that it's one of the hardest ones she's ever done.   I could hear her cheering for getting one piece in place as I was playing☺

Temperature Drop Tuesday

 We had a hail storm yesterday afternoon!  Around 3pm, the winds picked up and hail was pounding the windows and doors!  Mom said that Molly would have freaked out but not me. I was running around the house trying to figure out where all the noise was coming from!

When the hail and rain stopped, we took a walk outside.  The temps had dropped from over 80 degrees F to below 60 degrees F and it felt wonderful!

I've never seen ice before and mom says that she's never seen hail before in August that she can remember.   

This stuff is cold on my feets, mom!

Noisy thunder was still happening and mom said that she wasn't sure it was safe to stay out much longer.

What a cool storm but mom isn't thinking the same thing that I am because she has leaves and sticks and branches to clean up today.

Marvelous Monday

 Mom worked on fixing the camera issue for three entire days and for three entire days she had a headache that wouldn't quit.   She was so sad thinking that she would never be able to take pictures of me and blog anymore.  

She finally wrote to my sissy, who came down yesterday to help.   It took her exactly 5 minutes to fix the problem!  Thank you so much, Missy♥  

Mom is smiling once again and is getting used to this new way of downloading photos from her camera.   We have no idea how this problem ever happened in the first place but it's fixed and we are so happy that it is☺

Nature Friday

 We are joining Rosy and Sunny this week for Nature Friday~~

Mom was picking up sticks in the yard one day before she had to mow and came across these beauties in our small woods~

On our walk, Landlord Bob's Clematis up by the road was blooming!

And we found the Sumac blooming~  The Sumac always lets us know that Autumn is coming~

We have a bit of a problem that we need to let you all know about.    On Tuesday, mom's camera was downloading photos to her computer just fine and on Wednesday, it stopped working and no downloading was happening. We were getting something about SD?   Mom has checked the SD card and cable several times and rebooted several times and it hasn't fixed the issue.   Mom has been researching and trying to fix the problem but as you all know, she is no computer geek.    The only photos we can upload at this time are the ones prior to the issue and that's not many.   

Mom is hoping that this is not the end of our blogging career.  If anyone has any suggestions, she would welcome them.

Mending Monday

 This happened over the weekend to my poor best buddy, Lambie😞

He now has a huge gaping hole in his head where his ear used to be and he has a second hole underneath his tail.   Mom says that he will have to go "under the needle" to get repaired. Don't worry, Lambie.   I will stay with you for the entire procedure.

Poor Lambie has had quite the ordeal and I will take excellent care of you until you feel better.

Feel better, Lambie, so we can play again soon.

Terrific Tuesday

Lambie arrived here Sunday night at 8:30 so I hardly had anytime to play with him before mom announced that it was bedtime.  

Monday morning, I needed to teach him how to play ball!
