We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~
First off, mom bought me a new harness, a blue-9 harness that comes highly recommended by the Whole Dog Journal. You will see me in this harness today but it will be going back as the neck size doesn't adjust small enough to fit. A smaller harness is on the way.
Because mom was trying to juggle the dual connect multi-function leash, which is also a blue-9 product, and the camera, she was having difficulties taking photos. We did get a nice shot of this pinkish autumn grass~We found beautiful lavender mums!Happy Friday, everyone!Love ya lots♥
Duke
that is a very good harness... we have one with da same system... it works only with the phenny but not with the nelly... no idea why LOL happy weekend
ReplyDeleteDear Mr. Duke (a/k/a Dandy) ... are you still making mischief on your walkabouts? Your Mommy must have a whole big box full of collars and leashes and accoutrements by now trying to find just the "right one" ... well, it'll all work out in time now, won't it. You'll be ready when you're ready ... there are just way too many exciting scents to sniff and things to explore out there ... Happy Weekend to you both.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful lavender Mums! Your Mom is very talented to juggle the leashes and the camera!

Dandy Duke...that is a most interesting harness. It appears that once the collar is the right size it will be purrfect for taking Mom on walks. I love the fall grass so delicate and the mums
ReplyDeleteLove you lots

You found some interesting nature on your walk, Duke. We hope the new harness fits you better.
ReplyDeleteMy niece just got a harness that that goes around the body, back in front of the hind legs. Looks like a torture device not unlike they use to make bulls buck in rodeos only used in reverse on dogs. She swears its the best harness she's ever used and her dog no longer pulls on walks.

ReplyDeleteThat looks like serious harnessing going on there! I do hope, when the replacement arrives, that you find it comfy and mum finds it useful! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Your new harness looks terrific Dandy Duke and you found lots of nice goodies!
ReplyDeleteDuke, I believe your beautiful pink grass is muhlenbergia. But you are always the star attraction!
ReplyDeleteThat autumn grass is beautiful. Mom says she has never see flowers on the tall grasses here. So pretty. Our mums are a lovely lavender color too. Hope the new harness fits better AND works for you.

The pinecone from Mom's stops at Plant Box contain what she guesses are Dungeon and Dragon pieces!
Lovely lavender mums Duke.
ReplyDeleteWe hope the smaller harness fits and does a good job for you and your mom!
