We are joining Rosy and Sunny this week for Nature Friday~~
These pictures are from last weekend as we were not doing too much walking with so much ice out there~The first thing we saw was this poster and we are happy to report that the kitty is now home - safe, sound and warm♥
This is a hairy poison ivy vine~
I can stand on top of the snow without falling in!The dried Sedum is almost buried by the snow and ice~I did get to walk up and down our driveway to explore!Happy Friday, everyone! This is a hairy poison ivy vine~

ReplyDeleteGlad you got out and about, Duke - at least it was dry overhead. Currently I am sitting in The Grey as he rocks and rolls in 60mph winds and lashing rain! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
That is nasty when there is a crust on the snow that one falls through. The edges can be sharp and painful. Nice they found the lost kitty. Cats can hide in so many places they are hard to find. Have a fun weekend!
ReplyDeletemaybe in the last photo you saw the kitty the people were looking for? we hope it finds the way back home...
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday, dear Duke! Enjoy your snow days on the way to spring.
ReplyDeleteYaY for The Khat being home - too cold NOT to be!
ReplyDeleteMom laughed when she would hear me sink into the snow a bit - of course, THAT is long gone now - and our temps in the next week are a wee bit roller coaster -
And THE WIND can go away - so not a fan - neither is Auntie Di!

Oona: "Oona is happy to hear that the Oona-looking kitty is home safe and sound. LIKE A NINJA."
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "And we're glad the poison ivy is safely inert for now! Mama and Dada always have to keep an eye out for it when we go to the park!"
BRRRRR...We can almost feel the cold through your pictures, Duke!! We sure hope things warm up for you soon!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
PeeEss...We are also glad the kitty is home safe and sound
It's no fun trying to walk on ice, is it Duke? We hope you ice melts soon so you can get back to regular walks.
ReplyDeleteWe are glad the kitty made his way home. Our cold is finally fading. A big warmup on the way AND we got to walk today!!! Tell Mom to be careful on that ice. Happy weekend.
