Hari OM Well, Duke, after the moth you have the Red-spotted Purple Butterfly... and then, the wonderfurs Monarch!!! What true beauties... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Our mom doesn't know the flowers or the butterflies but she says she doesn't care. Enjoying the beauty is most important. We haven't seen any butterflies here yet.
The butterflies are beautiful, Duke. Mom really enjoyed a trip she made many years ago with the grands when they were little. They went to the big butterfly display at Powell Gardens. The kids loved it too.
Our butterfly bushes are a haven for butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds. In the late winter we cut it down to almost the base and it grows back beautifully
Charlee: "Butterflies and moths are the best! The way they flutter around like they're drunk on nectar or something, we could watch them all day long!" Lulu: "You cats could watch a fly on the wall all day long." Charlee: "Your point being ... ?"
Oh my, how beautiful! Keeping the butterfly bushes deadheaded never seems to end. By the way, I actually made the spinach soup recipe and it turned out well. 🙂
Flutterby butterfly ... be careful, no landing on the Duke nosey nose!
