You sure found some pretty flowers on your walk, Duke. That is such a cute puzzle to work on.
ReplyDeleteLulu: "Hello, handsome Duke! Good to see you can still get out and about despite the heat!"
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, Dada says he has many memories of that burdock stuff getting stuck in his clothes and hair! As revenge, now he cooks with the roots sometimes ..."
You always find pretty flowers Dandy Duke! Hey, your Mom is a puzzle master!

I LOVE puzzles. For a while in MD I went to the senior center as a guest, and there were always tables with jigsaw puzzles going (lots of classes, lunch, performances too) nothing like that here
ReplyDeleteHi Duke! Marvelous here! You have some pretty flowers along your walk! We don't have Hibiscus but we do have Phlox and (shudder) Burdock. It grows like heck under our deck (Mom can't get under there and the roots are incredibly long) and in the junipers along the river bank. Kozmo and me and Jo Jo get the burrs in our furs - and sometimes Mom has to use the scissors to get them out! We hates them! There are lots of Japanese people in our area and they LOVE the roots (they call it Gobo). Its actually tasty. Mom used to sell her wares at the farm market and one of the other marketers used to sell it. Keep being AWESOME Duke! Purrs Marvelous Marv
ReplyDeleteWhat a great puzzle! That must have taken some time. And the hibiscus are a delight just like you Duke.
ReplyDeleteDuke you sure look handsome! I can almost smell the phlox. I LOVE puzzles. I have on I'm working on, too. It's a wonderful way to spend a hot day.
ReplyDeleteYou still have some stunning blooms.
ReplyDeleteHibiscus is such a happy flower, like zinnias are happy, too. At least they seem so to me.
ReplyDeleteThe puzzle is a good one.
Mom's flowers are quite lovely today ... but none quite as handsome as you, Duke. Enjoy your weekend, and hope it's a bit cooler for you both.
