We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~
We walk past this Chicory every day. The blue flowers are so pretty! At the end of our driveway is the Dayflower, another blue beauty~We spotted this white Hydrangea~Lots of Lillies are blooming. We have them in our yard~And along our walks~Have you ever seen a Catalpa tree in bloom? Mom used to call it a bean tree as it has very long "beans" that hang from it later in the season. The flowers are just gorgeous! We spotted another deer!At home, our Clivia is in bloom♥Happy Friday!Love ya lots♥
Duke

Duke, now that is one thing I have not seen blooming here yet, that chicory. It usually comes on with a Queen Anne's Lace and I've only seen a little of it so far. You have a big deer and I'm proud to say we had two fawns in the yard yesterday. Have a happy and quiet weekend with the holiday.
ReplyDeleteOh deer! We love the orange lilies, they are almost always yellow around here. So many pretty flowers. Our Hydrangeas are huge but then one bush is still not standing up completely after being smashed down with the heavy rains.
ReplyDeleteWhat nice things to see - of course, The Deer Doggy is the best -
ReplyDeleteWe are sorry and sad your walks are being impacted by this gross weather -
Poor Auntie Di - after living in Phoenix for 30+ years, this humidity is just killing he - she doesn't know how anyone can do it -

What beautiful blooms this week Duke! We love the lilies and your Catalpa tree blooms look a lot like our Desert Willows (which also have long "beans" in the Autumn!
ReplyDeleteSeeing that deer must have been so very cool! Did you bark at her?? We definitely would have barked BOL!
Beautiful plants! But you always have to be careful not to bite into something poisonous, dear Duke. Be careful! Kind regards, Jasna
