We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~
Mom altered Molly's hydrangea bandana and now it fits me!Earlier this year when mom was paying the rent, Landlady Maryann's Lunaria had seed pods that looked like these so she took a few and planted them this spring. They haven't grown much this summer so maybe they won't make it through the winter. We will find out next spring. As we were heading home, we spotted this Cardinal flower in the woods. Mom said that it was too far for us to walk off the road and risk getting ticks. The red flowers are so striking. Sorry the photo isn't better but you get the idea. We found pretty Zinnias~Happy Friday!Love ya lots♥Duke

Que magníficas fotos Duque. Que tengas un buen fin de semana
ReplyDeleteDuke, our favorite color is blue and especially blue hydrangeas. That bandana suits you just perfect. And a money plant! We hope your seeds grow big and give you lots of coins. Lynn sees Cardinal flower down in a swamp when she bikes. They've just started blooming though.

How nice you have a new bandana now that it is your size! We love the multi-color zinnias. They are so cheerful. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful bandana, Duke! It's been so dry here that not much has been in bloom, but with the return of cooler temps and rain, we're crossing our paws!

Lulu: "So many pretty and interesting flowers there! You look very handsome and happy in Molly's hydrangea bandanna, Duke!"
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, we don't blame you and your mom for staying away from the ticks. They have no redeeming qualities!"
Duke I can feel Angel Molly's radiant smile as she looks down to see your wearing her lovely bandana.
ReplyDeleteTo me the combo of chocolate brown and blue is excellent
I will google Lunaria. Mom has a green thumb I know it will thrive with her TLC
Hugs cecilia
