Looks like a successful home makeover downstairs, with more to come for the upstairs!
Hooray!!! You've got snow!!!The makeover looks really good. I am wondering where flat George is at the moment but glad to find him at your house. He is busy travelling these days.
It looks very beautiful! Our mom has that fear of heights thingy too! Years ago, she bought a 24 foot ladder to paint our house, and she found out she can only go four feet up the ladder! What a wuss!Aire-hugs,Penny & Patches
We like the look of the hallway, it is very peaceful and serene. And your dad is my hero...I think that the platform is a marvelous idea.Gussie and the muzzer
We'll pass on the snow, but love the redecorating project!
We are impressed with your winter project-looks great! We used Martha's, "Griddle Gray on the outside trim of our house and we love it!Be careful on that staging...
Send that snow to us, please, we have none.Love that color, but no way would the Momster ever get on those planks:(Be careful up there.Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
I wish you lived close to us. I desperately need my house painted. You do such a good job!!XX, Bambi & Fern
Tsar says YES!! Send all you can spare. The weatherman has promised us that we'll get some tonight, but he's been wrong before. In fact, most of the time he's wrong.Morgan, Tsar and the Porties
Enjoying your lovely progress! New colors make a huge difference, I agree. Oh my gosh that platform.... I too am afraid of heights so I am not sure I would like to see any gaps in the platform but I know your hubby is an expert in these matters so all is undoubtedly well! There is some comforting soup over at my blog, stop on over for a bowl :) Good on a snowy day!I see that baby gate at the bottom of the stairs... we have those at our house too... don't allow the Pack downstairs at my house to the completely redone family room.... unless we are present of course ... xoxo
Your house is looking beautiful! It's amazing how fresh paint makes the place look so wonderful!! Lots of love, Holly and mom
The lighter paint will brighten things up, won't it? I have to confess, though, that the teal was a very pretty color.
Love the morning dove color - so, so pretty! Mom would have a fear of heights too, without the "staging"! Actually, Mom might have a fear of getting up on the "staging" itself! You have a great start on the job - good luck - can't wait to see it done!xoSammie and Avalon
OH YES, it is looking great!! Mom is doing a fine job and it will look beautiful when it is all done!!wagsJazzi
