Maggie has turned over the blog to me today and I need to ask for your help! I need to find a permanent solution about where I should rest my weary wheelie body every single night when the lights go out and it's dark!
Choice #1 - my very own canopy bed! Of course it will have to have an autumn theme quilt and I'll need stuffies in bed with me to keep me company so we'll have to work on that if I select this choice!

Choice #3 - Whoa! This is a REALLY nice choice! An antique cradle with all the fine trimmings and I'd have a real dolly to sleep with! Again, though, I don't see much room for me to squeeze in there next to her! She's sorta hogging the whole bed!
Choice #4 - A nice cushie basket with a pretty quilt, very low to the floor, just the perfect size but there's a kitty in there! He's not looking like he's going to move out anytime soon! Better scratch choice #4!

Choice #6 - My last choice! Sleeping with Mitch! I'm not getting a warm fuzzy feeling about this choice either! I don't think Mitch wants to sleep with me!
So these are my six choices! Which one do you think I should choose? I'm so confused! I have way too many choices!
Thank you in advance for all of your help!
See you next week!
Autumn
Yesterday we had a visit from Guinness and Jigger Junior! They rode all this way just to come and visit us! What a tough guy this Guinness is to wheel from a whole state away!

Hello, Autumn! I'm Guinness! Pleased to meet you! I've heard so much about you from so many other wheelies!
Well aren't you a sweetie for coming all this way just to meet me! Let's sit down and have a cup of tea and we can really get to know each other!

Thank goodness the ducks had the good sense to eat first before this evil muskrat railroaded them out! Mom sorta interrupted him and he turned to leave before he finished his meal!
I guess Mr. Otter hasn't had his muskie meal yet! By the way - several of the timber frame students saw the river otter the day they were here for the tour! Some of them saw him crossing the road we live on at lightning speed and others saw him running across the grass and heading for the pond like when mom saw him so he's still around and if mom wouldn't have been so involved in working on her quilting block she might have gotten a picture of him! DARN!
Mitch wasn't too sure what to make of it either!
Thank you so very much, Koobie! That was a very thoughtful thing that you and your mom did! And thanks for giving my ball back, Mitch!

Is anybody home?!

This is a grove of Mountain Laurels! The Mountain Laurel is Connecticut's state flower! It will be in bloom soon but right now it's still a wee bit too early yet! Mom loves all the corkscrew trunks!
Mitch and dad stayed ahead of us the whole time! Dad says that Mitch practically pulls him up the mountain! Lucky dad - mom ends up practically dragging me up the mountain because I need to sniff absolutely EVERYTHING!
What a perfect walk we had! Can you see that beautiful blue sky?! And what makes the day even more perfect is that Mitch and I hear that we're having ooonies for dindin!

This is another one that I've made! This one is a real mini mini! It's another Amish design!
Now I need to tell you a distressing story! See this little needle felted bear? His name is Oatmeal! Well, somehow his tummy got split open and all of his stuffing is coming out! He's not feeling too well so he's resting. I told him that I would help him out and sew him back up and make him as good as new!
I asked Mitch if he knew anything about this most unfortunate accident and he said no! I think he's telling the truth, don't you? His eyes do look honest!
So then I asked Maggie if she had any valuable information and she just gave me a kiss and told me how badly she felt! I don't think she did it either!
Don't worry Oatmeal! I'll help you!
My turn, Maggie! You can't have it all! Mom says that I'm being much more polite than you are today!
Is there any more, mom? I'm starving to death!
This pizza is sooooooooooooo yummy! Mom says that this kind is eggplant and she's thinking the other pieces are artichoke! Keep it comin', mom!
Don't you just love TimberFrame weekend, Mitch?! Wait till you hear what else happens! Last year you were too young to get the full effect!
Today is what dad calls the Tour of Barns day! These students come to our house and see dad's workshop and tour our barns and eat more snacks! Today is one of my favorite days in the whole entire year! You see, dad bought 3 dozen Dunkin donuts this morning for coffee time and mom and I can't wait to head outside when the students leave to tour other barns that the Northford TimberFramers have raised in our area. We want to see if these piglets left us any edible donuts so we can have our own pawty! Mom says that for once clean up is a blast!

What a day this has been! Do we really have to wait a whole year for this day to come around again?!
