True Colors Thursday - Turquoise

We joined true colors Thursday on a turquoise week and this color rolls around again! We actually thought that turquoise was an easy color to find the first time around and it wasn't any harder to find more stuff on the second time around! If you want to play, drop by Blue's blog and let her know! This weeks color is turquoise!

This was our gram's doll when she was a little girl. She's dressed in turquoise and her high chair and plate and cup are all turquoise!Still speaking of our gram, she needlepointed this work of art! It was mom and dad's first house when they moved to Northford in 1975! Gram did a terrific job! That's exactly how the house looked, after much work, and she even added the barn that dad built! That's the very first barn that our dad ever built! And yes, we're still on the subject of our gram - this is the front of the dollhouse that she and my gramp built together all those years ago! The shutters on the house are turquoise!
Autumn is sporting a bandana with turquoise in it!
And last, but not least, yes, this is really Mitch's gotcha day gift but I sure do love this piggie! Mom says that it comes in pink too and she's going to buy it for me for my birthday! Next weeks color is grey!

So until next time.................

Love ya lots,

Maggie and Mitch

  40. Crikey I think we'd be hard pressed to find turquoise coloured thingies around our house. Good work.
We meant to answer your question about the B&B we stayed at. Ours in more the traditional style where you actually get a cooked breakfast when you stay and that one was more a self contained place with continental breakie provisions provided.
    Hence ours is better hehehehe.

  41. As we've noted before, the only True colors are the red, yellow and blue balloons pictured on the Wonder bread wrapper. Turkeycoys is a gem stone mineral found in Santa Fe. However, next week's color is one of our dad's favorites. he was in the Navy for 20 years and he says you'd be surprised to learn how many shades of gray the Navy has: deck gray, battleship gray, low visibility gray, high visibility gray, bulkhead grey, gun grey, flight deck gray, etc. He say's another favorite Navy color is rust. Then there's Navy Blue which looks like black to us.
