FYI Friday

We thought you all should know that Wednesday, August 3rd, is National Watermelon day!
We've already let mom know.
We grabbed her purse and made sure she had enough money to buy us a nice big juicy one!     Mom made this purse a few years ago.  It's all of her favorite things for summer - ice cream, watermelon and Airedales!
We hope all of you will be celebrating with us!

    We just loooove the purse, but we aren't so sure about the Wallymelon. We've never had it 'cause our stoopid mom hates all melons and anything melon flavored. Yep, she's weird!

    I like it that at our supermarket the produce people let you taste a melon before you buy one! I like watermelon too especially the seedless ones. But I remember as a kid how much fun it was to eat watermelon outside and spit the seeds at my siblings!

    Very pretty handbag Sue. I use to love to make purses. Now I hardly ever go anywhere any more since I don't drive any more. (can't pass the eye test)

    My mumma finks that purse what your mom has is fery nice -- excepting she finks it should have a pickture of my kind of doggie on it. ;)
