A Pressie for ME

Hi everyone. It's me, Mitch.
A package came in the mail today and mom said that it was for me - just me - not Maggie too!
What the heck are they, Maggie?
Any ideas?
It's clickin' at me.  I'm not sure I like it!
Now I'm sure I don't like it!  I'm getting out of here.
You can have the pressie.  I don't want any part of it!
Why are you wearing it around your neck, mom?
Hey, Maggie - when mom clicks this thing, I get treated.  I can do this!
This is a good thing!
I think I'm in for more training.  Oh well. Keep the treats comin', mom!

So until next time................

Yer friends,
Mitch and Maggie

  1. Blogger is being hard to get along with - again. I don't think Gretchen would respond well to the clicker either...

    --Chan, Sissy & Gretchen

  2. It is really easy to train your people to click and treat Mitch. If you sit in or give them eye contact they will do the click and treat thing a lot. We love to see the clickers. Have fun training.

    Your friends,
    Niamh & Ambrose

  3. That thing means lots of treats!

  4. We're thinking this could definitely work to your advantage, Mitch! Peeps are fairly easy to train :)

    The Road Dogs

  5. rut-ro!! I thinks she makes you do things with that thing there, but...if there are treats involved then I guess its ok.

  6. Hi Mitch, my mom took a teach-the-teacher course in clicker training and has even taught classes using it. Tell your mom that it does work, consistency and rewarding the behavior really works. Your mom clicks and then you do what she's asking, and then she gives you a treat. Simple eh? Your mom will have it down in no time flat.

  7. Our Mom says she's not coordinated enough to work a clicker. That's OK with us.
    Morgan, Tsar and the Porties

  8. My mommy used to use a clicker, but she doesn't anymore. She says to tell your mommy, that she loves the idea of putting the clicker on a necklace!

    Woofs & hugs,

    ~Bailey (Yep, I'm a girl!)

  9. We hear that clickers equate with treats - sounds like a win-win to us. And besides, it gives Mom a nice new piece of jewelry:)

Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara

  10. That thing looks very good!

    Thor and Jack

  11. Mitch, we love the clicker! Clive always loves when he hears the clicker too - always means treats!

    Keep up the good work!

    take care

    Love, Putter

  14. You go Mitch! Mom had one of those when I was young and I just loved it! Lots of treats!

    woos, Tessa

  15. Great! Mom wants to know if it works. Don't tell her
    Benny & Lily

  16. If you get treats, maybe the clicker is worth it.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella

  26. Oh, I did NOT like the clicker when my mom first started using it with me. But now I LUVS it. In fact, it's one of my favoritest things in the whole wide world cuz it means I get treatsies AND I get to spend special time with mom doing fun stuffs. Maybe I oughta get her one that hangs around HER neck. That's pretty nifty!

    Wiggles & Wags,

  33. Hi Mitch
Mom has brought me up also with the clicker. A long time ago, but I still understand the language.
    Lots of love

  34. Mitch, you are going to love that clicker! It's a great way for your humans to communicate with you and say in easily-understood language, "Well done, Mitch!"
