It was in the teens when we went on our walkies this morning and it was breezy so there were wind chills. We both had to wear our winter coats!
We didn't get much snow from yesterday's storm but we got a lot of ice~
This poor garden umbrella is covered in icicles.
More icicles~
The daffies are sad~
Our flag is covered in ice.
The Hyacinths are wondering what the heck is going on!
The Barberry is layered with ice.
This poor pup has got to be freezing his hiney off!
Please come back spring! And in a hurry!
Love ya lots♥
Mitch and Molly
We're wondering the same thing! No snow here, but it was 20 degrees overnight—yikes!
ReplyDeleteI know I know its crazy here also, maybe freezing rain tonight on Sunday it was almost 80. stella rose
ReplyDeleteWe would tell you about our weather, but why make cute enemies like you guys.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my word...do we agree of course we didn't have any frozen precipitation but it has turned really cold. They are predicting close to freezing temps tonight. I expect our flowers will be sad too. Our Daffies have finished blooming but the azaleas have just fully opened. Dang mother nature is such a tease.
ReplyDeleteWarm hugs and wishes for spring to spring back

BowWozers. You guys got an Arctic Blast! Those poor daffys. Looks like all your plants were ready for Spring and then got fooled by Old Man Weather!! We have warmed up here, but not too hot. Wind and rain yesterday, but it's been in the 40-50's. We sure hope it's not going to be a hot summer. Mama said we left Phoenix to get away from the heat. We all like snowy weather the best! Hope you all are keeping warm, but not too warm!
ReplyDeleteIs your mama stitching for the annual Airedale quilt yet?? We seemed to miss getting tickets for it last year

Oh no, so sad for the little flowers. Hoping for warm weather soon.
ReplyDeleteThat pretty much what it looks like around here too!
ReplyDeleteSpring is so fickle! I hope your flowers can bounce back. Some warm sun will make all of you happier!
ReplyDeleteIt was crazy here too. All the flowers are looking sad and bendy. Hope you blossoms all recover, or at least that there is no permanent damage.
ReplyDeletegus and teka
trailing along at the end of the line, we really need a new secretary!
We finally came out of our deep freeze last night and it melted all the snow we got.
ReplyDeleteYIKES .... that's cold!!! Who turned the heat off?
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mitch and Mollie for writing, and letting me know how much she loves that narcissus painting. They are a very cheery flower.
Hugs to you all,
Kath
Dear Mitch and Molly,
ReplyDeleteWe hope that spring comes back very soon, and that you don't have to wear your coats any more ! Hopefully, the daffodils, hyacinths, and all those other lovely flowers will survive the late winter snow. It is definitely time for sunshine and warmth !
Best wishes, from Marina and Daryl
We're snow dogs so we're supposed to love this surprise but we have to admit, it was kinda nice to lie on the back patio soaking up the sunshine last week.
