We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~
The money plant is so pearly white and pretty!
We found a white blooming phlox. It doesn't smell as fragrant as the pink variety. The garden orbweaver spider is back~
Mom took the first photo and he started to bounce his web. We tried to find info to see if this is what they do but we didn't find anything. It sure is funny looking and mom, being as puter challenged as she is, couldn't figure out how to post the video upright so we apologize.
Happy Friday, everybuddy, and no mom - I do not need a hAireCut!
Love ya lots♥
Molly
we love the money plant!!! but by now we were not able to bring some home in one piece LOL happy wekend to ya
ReplyDeleteWe are wondering if we could use the money plant to pay for more snacks? Sounds like a really good idea but it doesn't look like the kind of money our mom uses to pay for things. Have a fun weekend!
ReplyDeleteThe phlox is pretty, and to be honest Molly we can't smell the fragrances through the screen anyway.
ReplyDeleteAnd no of course you don't need a hAirecut!
Happy Nature Friday.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
I want one of those money plants!! Who says money doesn't grow on trees?!!?!!
ReplyDeleteSpiders are creepy...but awesome video. And no,you just need a trip to HAire-do Parlor for a set & style!!
Hari Om
ReplyDeleteWondefurs post again, Molly - oh and the odd web dance is not a sign of aggression, which some think it is. The theory is that it may be a type of defence mechanism or an attempt to distort the vision of would-be predators. In other words, mum was just a tad too close for that spider's comfort! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Love the money plants. Haven't seen one in years.
ReplyDeleteMy mother in law loved Money Plants. Seem to remember they grew on the farm where she was raised.
ReplyDeleteMr. Orb has his very own bouncy house. Give Mom a 100 on her video posting her efforts paid off we all saw the bounce.
Happy Friday Hugs Cecilia
I haven't seen a money plant in years. Brought back some great memories. Thanks for sharing the picture.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool looking spider and web. Maybe they make it bounce to attract prey to it.
ReplyDeleteEverything sure looks pretty and I hope you have a mighty fine Friday!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers, a huge spider and beautiful Molly. Perfect nature shots.
ReplyDeleteHave a woof woof day and weekend, Miss Molly. My best to your mom. ♥
Hmmm...we have white and pink phlox, and I never noticed there might be a difference in their scents! I'll be checking that out when I get home! :)
ReplyDeleteYou look fine just the way you are, Molly!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pawsome spider footage!! What a wonderful web he made...and we have never seen one bouncing his web like that!!
xoxo,
Rosy and the Gang
We loved seeing your orb weaver danncing! The ones that have their webs on our deck will shake the web too! I think she does that so that we see it and don't walk through it. We LOVE your flowers this week! We would LOVE to have a Silver Dollar Plant. Did you know they are part of the mustard family and you can eat them? And Molly, you look purrfect just the way you are!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the lovely flowers
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers. Not so sure about the spider though...
ReplyDeleteBOL
Thank you for visiting our Bridge angels today on Remembrance Day.
Hugs
We don't seem to have any big orb weaver spiders around our neighborhood anymore. I miss them. I think people use too much pesticides, or else the birdies are eating them all.
ReplyDeleteThat money plant is neat. I've never seen one before.
ReplyDeleteLady has not seen a money plant in years. It brought up so many happy memories of childhood. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "Wait ... So that plant grows money???"
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "How did Dennis never plant one of those?"
Hi Molly. I am having the hardest time liking your posts! I love them all!! Nature walks are so much fun:). I hope your getting my comments!! Mya
ReplyDeleteHi Molly wonderful walk and that spider was fascinating. We see some of our native bigger spiders doing the web bounce too. Molly you will look wonderful after your Aire-Cut and I am sure cooler which is why we got Treacle done as she was getting too warm. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs & Love, Susie & Treacle xx
ReplyDeleteoh no!! Please accept our apologies! thank you for all of your wonderful comments! for some reason they weren't coming to my email for approval and when I went to check something on my blog I saw them all sitting in the comments on the side......I just approved them all. I am so sorry! You are such good furiends!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteMom loves those big spiders. We have one in the hedge. We also have several of the regular garden spiders living on the porch. They come out at night, then roll their webs up during the day.
ReplyDeleteI haven’t seen the money tree in years!!! Also the spider is creepy!!!
