We feel so fortunate and grateful that Henri went easy on us. We never lost our power and it wasn't too scary.
Mom had the AireConditioner back in the window by just after seven this morning.
The only real damage we got was lots of apples on the ground and the deer and woodchucks will be thankful for those. The outside photos are a strange color because the sky is dark and ominous looking. The rain is expected to come back through Connecticut today - heavy at times with slight breezes. Paws and fingers remain crossed that the poor saturated trees that made it through yesterday, won't decide to topple today.
Thank you all so much for your support. We can feel the love♥
Molly and mom
Oh golly Miss Molly I know exactly how you and Mom feel. Hurricanes no matter their strength make one feel so out of control of their own environment. Having your world back on the right route is wonderful

Good to hear!! I've had you in my thoughts all weekend.
ReplyDeleteSO glad to see this - both of you had been our minds during the 'event' - during our walk we kept hearing RI CT and how for the most part, CT fAIREd better than RI powerwise -
ReplyDeleteSo YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh that's great news and I'm so glad that Henri wasn't a big stinker there.
ReplyDeleteWe were purraying that Henri would miss you guys and we are so happy that you posted and let us know he did! We are glad you never lost you power too! We are having seasonal weather this week here. This is terrific news as the cooler weather is helping with the fire fighting and the rain we had yesterday has washed the smoke out of out air.
ReplyDeleteWe were lucky, and grateful, too
ReplyDeleteLulu: "We're glad to hear that Henri delivered a load of apples and not too much damage. Sounds like it's time for pie!"
ReplyDeleteWe're glad to hear that you're safe. We were concerned about our East Coast friends.
ReplyDeleteWe didn’t get any effect from Henri. We were suppose to but it took that hard left! I’m glad your all ok!!
ReplyDeleteHi. I’m not sure my comment went thru! Henri missed us. It took a hard left. We had a little wind and rain but three small tornadoes the following day. crazy weather!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad for you that it wasn't too bad and hope the trees survive. We don't get hurricanes here, we just get very high winds or the tail end of hurricanes from you but that can be scary. So glad Molly and you were okay. Stay safe. Hugs & Love, Susie & Treacle xx
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad the storm wasn't bad for you! We ended up with some rain and that was about it, not even as much as we'd hoped for since it's been a bit dry here again.
ReplyDeleteHi friend, Ojo here! I am glad you are safe! Apples on the ground are a bonus - yum! Be well, friend!
