Terrific and Tasty Tuesday

Mom got this book in the mail a few days ago.  She smiles a lot while she's reading and if she's not smiling, she's laughing out loud and then she looks at me and tells me that Doris and I could be twinsies!

Mom is only a quarter of the way through the book and she already knows that she never wants it to end!

Yesterday, she had an appointment with the dentist.  She stressed about it all weekend as she's never had to have dental work on both side of her mouth at once, which means nasty numbing novacaine needles but it actually wasn't as bad as she thought it was going to be.   When she got home she made another batch of stewed apples and an English muffin bread, which we've never made before.
There is nothing better than warm bread out of the oven slathered in butter, right?   This recipe is definitely a keeper!
Happy Tuesday!

Love ya lots♥
Molly

  13. Mom minds the wearing off of the novacaine more than the actual injections. Hope your Mom's mouth is feeling just fine now. That bread looks so good. Nothing quite the same as fresh bake bread.

Neither Gail (who is English), nor I, Bertie (who is of course Scottish) had heard of English muffin bread before! But it does look good.
