We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~
We love the tall grasses this time of year.
I AM looking, mom!
We found berries, which we are very happy about. Because of the drought this summer, there just aren't any out there!
Yesterday morning, the crows and the blue jays and the squirrels were all fighting over the peanuts mom put out for them!
We had a junco come to our smaller feeder. We normally see them feeding on the ground.
The amaryllis that my sissy gave mom for Christmas is about to burst into bloom. The stem is seventeen inches tall from the rim of the pot to the point of the flower bud.
Happy Friday, everybuddy!
Love ya lots♥
Wow, it looks more like April there! The berries are pretty. Have a great weekend!ReplyDelete
Even in the depths of winter there is colour to be found, be it berries, birds or your harness, Molly! And you have me excited for seeing that Amaryllis bloom... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
OMDs Molly the Juncos aka Snow birds have been here a lot. I keep telling them we don't want snow.ReplyDelete
WOW that Amaryllis is as tall as Jack's bean stalk
Love your Lots
Love the Tiffany lamp by the amaryllis! Love the winter grasses...and the variety of birds!!!ReplyDelete
You look great on this Friday morn, Molly!!!!
We can't wait to see 'Ami' come to visit -ReplyDelete
Thanks for sharing all your 'winter' beauty!
We can't wait to see that amaryllis in bloom. You are looking as cute as ever, Molly.ReplyDelete
Those blue jays sure can be little piggies sometimes! We also can't wait to see the amaryllis bloom, and see what color is is!ReplyDelete
The squirrels here seem annoyed by Boston's frequent ins and outs. They have to jmp off the feeders and run to the back of the deck even though he doesn't see them.ReplyDelete
We noticed that most of our bushes and trees have little or no fruit this year. Our hawthorn tree is already out of berries. Can't wait to see your amaryllis when it blooms!ReplyDelete
You found some pretty nature and of course you're pretty too sweet Molly!ReplyDelete
You always find beauty in the worldReplyDelete
Gail and I are back home now and happy as always to see your latest nature pictures.
What a great walk and at least you were able to get out and the weather was kind. We here in the UK have not had as many berries as previous years. I love that Amaryllis, cannot wait to see it when it is in full flower. Have a wonderful weekend Molly. Hugs & Love, Susie & Coco xxReplyDelete
Sigh. We headed back into the deep freeze with snow again today. We to have not too many berries for the wildlife. Your Peep is doing terrific with the amaryllis! We cant wait to see the flowers! Molly, you look marvelous darling! Keep being awesome! Purrs marvReplyDelete
We have grass like that under lots of snow. We love your doll. Lee and Phod, catching up on a snowy Sunday.ReplyDelete
Lulu: "Ooh, juncos! Our Mama and Dada saw them all over the place many years ago when they went on vacation in Shenandoah and thought they were just adorable!"ReplyDelete
Java Bean: "Our Mama and Dada go on vacations?"
Lulu: "Well not in my experience. But apparently they used to."
