Mom says that I am posing so nicely with the Marigolds~

As we walk along in this heat with humidity, the Honeysuckle smells divine!
At home, the pink Beebalm is blooming~
The Moonshine Yarrow is so cheerful!
The Lavender is blooming and mom is cautioning me about being aware of the bees.
The Veronica is in bloom!
Happy Friday and welcome to Summer, and today is the perfect day to spend at the beach!

Greenies Monday

 My very first Greenie!

Mom says that Molly only tried them once and she woofed them down so fast that she wasn't getting any toofie cleaning benefits.   I'm a good boy and take my time and mom keeps reminding me that I still have little puppy teefs and things could change.
I will enjoy them while I have them!
Happy Monday!

Molly's watermelon collar fits me and mom said that I could wear it!

Behind me to the right is a painting of Maggie and Mitch enjoying watermelon.   I hope that I can try this wonderful fruit sometime VERY soon!
Happy Father's Day to all the dads!

I really like my new harness and so does mom~
I discovered pretty pansies!  The sign above that you can't see is telling us pups to please not water the pretty pansies.
Hey, Nelson - we have limeGreen flowers for you.  They are blooming on mom's Lady's Mantle!

We discovered purple Spiderwort~
This is my new friend.   Her name is Concrete Buffy☺

Monday FunDay

When my mom and Missy picked me up from my breeders, Mr Brian told them that I was the largest of my seven puppy siblings and that I was the stingiest and never gave up a toy. Once I got it - it was MINE!  I am still a stingy boy and I always have two toys to play with at the same time - never just one.

Mom thinks that watching me play is more fun than watching TV.   She laughs out loud every time she sees me sitting on my rainbow furball☺
As a bonus, mom found one of my four-month old puppy toofers!
Happy Monday!

Nature Friday

We are joining Rosy and SunnyRosy and Sunny for Nature Friday~~

My new harness is working out well but mom doesn't like its narrow strap construction so she has ordered another one by the same company that should be more cushy with wider straps for me.

The Peony's are blooming along our walk~
Mom doesn't trust that I'm just sniffing and not want to take a bite☺
Miss Dotty's Dutch Irises are blooming~
They are in bloom at our house too!
We want to thank Miss Cathy so very much for her very generous donation to Our Companions Animal Rescue in memory of Molly♥  You are a very thoughtful to do this and we appreciate it more than you will ever know, Miss Cathy♥  Thank you!
We want to wish Landlord Bob a very happy birthday today!

Happy Friday!

Tasty Tuesday

Today, I'm doing my very first Tasty Tuesday post!    Mom says that this was one of Molly's favorite projects that she took very seriously.

Mom made one of her loaves of cheese bread~

EASY CHEESE BATTER BREAD
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. warm milk
1/4 c. warm water
2 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 pkg. active dry yeast
2 c., 8 oz. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
3 eggs
Generously grease bottom and sides of 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Melt butter in warm milk and water (microwave works well). In large bowl combine 1 1/2 c. flour and all other ingredients; beat 3 minutes (had whipper works well) at medium speed. By hand, stir in remaining 1 cup flour. Cover and let rise in warm place until light, about 45 to 60 minutes; dough does not double in size. Stir dough down; place in greased pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, baked 45 to 50 minutes until golden brown. Remove from pan immediately. Store in refrigerator. Note: It tastes better after it's refrigerated, be eaten warmed up. Good with a little butter on it.

The finished loaf that needs to cool before we can cut into it~
Sitting and waiting is SO HARD!
Time to give this bread a try.
Yup - it's delicious, mom!
I'm off to play with my Kong squirrel!
Happy Tuesday!
