We lost our power last night at 1am and didn't get it back until 4:30am. I was thrilled as mom spent the night in the living room with me with a candle lit and I didn't have to be in my crate!
Today, I am five months old and mom decided to change up the route on our walk. It was a very wet morning due to heavy rain last night and lots of tree branches down. I got to go on a longer walk and sniff lots of new smells!
Mom says there is nothing more beautiful than blue Hydrangeas!Happy Thursday!Love ya lots♥
Duke
your mama is right... they are like a greeting from the good ole time...
ReplyDeleteDandy Duke you Mama is correct...the blue hydrangeas are my favorite too.
ReplyDeleteLove your morning profile and very thankful you power is back
Love you lots Cecilia
You look so handsome next to those hydrangea, Duke. We don't like it when the power goes out here either.
ReplyDeleteOur Mama agrees...Blue hydrangeas are sooooo beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWe think you are much more handsome!

Rosy & Sunny
Yes, those blooms are so pretty and you look most happy Dandy Duke!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the power outage. It has been a really weird season of crazy weather. We bet you enjoy those walks with Mom. The hydrangeas are beautiful. Most of the ones here are pink or lavender. The blue is gorgeous. Mom remembers seeing all the gorgeous blue hydrangeas on Cape Cod when she vacationed there with her family.

Cpngratulations on passing the power out test.
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, spending the night cuddling with Mama? The only thing better than that is a nice long damp walk with lots of new smells, and you got to do both in one day! Lucky!!!"
ReplyDeleteGlad that you didn't lose your power during winter, and it did come back. Did you stay in Mom's arms? I do wonder if the wet weather hinders your sense of smell, cos it always smells like wet earth after rain. Ah yes, blue hydrangeas are the best flowers around rainy season. I thought Mom's favorite hydrangea is purple, I think I got it wrong.💙🌧️
ReplyDeleteHydrangeas are my favorite too,
Julia
Oh glad the power came back on and it was not off for too long. We get regular power cuts where we live in the UK and sometimes it can be off the whole day and sometimes it is only for an hour or two. At least you were able to keep your Mom company Duke. We love Hydrangeas but they do not like our soil. We have planted two white ones in big pots this year for our patio and are going to see how they go, at the moment they love it. We love the blue ones and the pink ones when they are mixed together. Hugs & Love, Susie & Coco xx
