  2. But why do you even need boots? Mom has never needed boots for a dog unless it is more than -10 out. We think you should keep going bare paw.

  3. seems that boots are not made for walking... maybe you can find good ones in a store for sled dogs or for K9 pups?

  4. Duke OMDS I'm sorry I might be giggling. I will say that although they don't as intended they sure to give you a dandy prance and dance. I recall how your angels had problems with their paws and I know Mom is trying to make sure you don't. I hope and purr she finds the purrfect ones for you
    Love you lots

  5. Our Angel Little Bit hated those shoes too. She wouldn't wear them.

Have a woof woof Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, Duke. My best to your mom. ♥

  6. How wonderful to see you in a video, Duke! You're totally adorable. I'm also wondering if the boots are really necessary?

  7. Maybe if you try them outside on salty sidewalks and feel the difference in not getting you toes sting or full of salt you'd understand why your mom wants you to wear them? Never saw any canine walk any different than you are in the video when you first try them on.

  8. I've got to find boots for Teddy. He's wearing balloon boots right now but they're hard to get on.

  9. We get it...we wouldn't wear them either Duke. You sure do look handsome in them though!

  10. Duke, we have seen some dogs with boots that love them, and we have seen some very funny videos of dogs going cuckoo with them on. We don't think we would like them either, but they are cute.

  12. Hi hi hi! Ojo here! I HATE those foot-things! If you put them on me, I will Not Walk. I promise you! I hope they go away soon for you, friend!

  13. Chaplin: "According to Dennis, that is just how Tucker used to walk with his booties on, too! It must be a dog thing!"

  14. I have several pairs of doggy slipper socks...more for not sliding on a slperry floor, but the pups hate them as well. I have some of those so called balloon boots that you pull onto the paws like a tight sock, but have not tyried them. I do think they, esp Benji, would go berserk if I put mukluks on them. BOL!!!
Angel MJF did the same kind of high stepping prancing when he had boots to try on...seems they have a market, because they are readily available, but hardly any pup likes them!

  15. as long as the boots are secured around his wrists, they should work to protect feet. Milo walked like that every time we put them on, then forgot and walked normally.

  16. I’d say we could use them, but I know with 100% certainty, the collies would not tolerate them.

  17. So this is how you move around in boots! I love your adorable advances and Mom's giggles.💗

Hope you'll find the right boots that stay on you,
    Julia

  18. We love seeing you in your videos Duke and especially the way you walk with your boots on. I am sure they protect your feet when you are out in the snow so I know they are a pain on and to walk in but your Mom is just trying to keep you safe. Hugs & Love Susie & Coco xx
