My mom loves buying dog collars and she has for years~
I know - you want to see my face. Can you see my ice cream collar now?How about now?!Yesterday, mom and I were walking and we spotted a coyote in front of us. He kept looking back at us and he eventually headed into the woods. Then it was mom's turn to look back and see if we were being followed. He started to bark at us! Mom has never heard a coyote bark before so she googled it once we got home.
"To answer the initial question set forth, yes, coyotes do bark! The noise sounds much like a dog’s bark. As with dogs, sometimes a coyote’s bark signals a warning, demands attention, establishes territory, alerts danger or displays extreme anger."
We were so happy that we were almost home when he started to bark!
Happy July 1st!
Love ya lots♥
Duke
Happy you reached home safe and sound ... by the way, do you have a favorite ice cream flavor?
ReplyDeleteWe run into fox sometimes and certain times of the year there are coyotes where we walk. They usually race away when they see us coming. Mom says, "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream" is what comes to mind with your new collar.
ReplyDeleteoooh how wonderful... and yes, it is super cool... happy july
ReplyDeleteDuke, Linda and I have our favorite color which is aqua. So we love that color you're wearing. And the thank you we're outside listening to a coyote. It's been a few years since Lynn has been lucky enough to hear one but she has seen one on the bike path.

ReplyDeleteHi Duke, Happy July 1st! I LOVE your ice cream collar! Oh my.... Coyote is a bit of problem in Toronto now. My mom saw one hanging around in the residential area while she was running in the morning. Juno
ReplyDeleteNice collar there, Duke. I'd buy Liam and Teddy more collars but you can't even see them with all their hair. Scary about the coyote.
ReplyDeleteIn Oklahoma, we often heard them howling on the other side of the pond. Coyotes are scary. Coyotes are scary. Love the collar!
