Ready, mom?

 We found white Yarrow for Phenny and Nelly!

 This peony is just opening~

 This Peony looks white in the picture but it's really a very pale pink.  

The Honeysuckle is in bloom!  Mom hates humidity and one of the only positive things that she can say about it is that the Aire, as we walk along, is beautifully scented and she can't stop smiling☺  There is no manmade perfume that can capture the true fragrance of the fabulous scent of Honeysuckle♥

 Yes, mom - you are right.   It does have a wonderful scent.    Guess what I did after I sniffed it?   I peed on it☺

 The Kousa Dogwood is in bloom~

 This is Mountain Laurel close up.  Notice the tiny puckered buds.  They open to such pretty blossoms and their one fault - the don't have any scent.   Every flower should have a beautiful scent in my mom's opinion.

International Box Day

We weren't sure that we were going to have a box so that we could participate but as luck would have it, I needed kibbles and cookies -a girl can never have too many packages of cookies, right?   The nice FedEx man delivered a box from Chewy to us on Monday!

What do you mean two feets are not acceptable, mom?

My hiney has to be all the way down and sitting?

 Am I good now, mom?

 You promised if I was a good girl, the box would be opened and I could have a cookie~

 Thank you, mom!  These cookies are so yummy!   Can we play the box game again tomorrow?

Happy International Box Day!  We can't wait to see all of our friends sitting in their boxes!

Nature Friday

 We have Dutch Iris in our side yard~

 And we found Bearded Iris on our walk~

 We just missed the Scotty going out to get her morning newspaper.   The Spiderwort is near her mailbox.

 We just love Peonies!

 The Clematis is turning into a powder puff☺

 Connecticut's state flower - the beautiful Mountain Laurel♥

 We found roses growing along a stone wall~

 We couldn't resist taking a picture of our pansies.   We love their smiling faces☺

Mackie's dad had a medical procedure yesterday so Mackie was here all day yesterday and will be going home today.

Marvelous Monday

Mom went to a nursery a couple of weeks ago and forgot to post the beautiful flowers that she saw. 
She found gorgeous Hellebores surrounded by pansies in barrels in the parking lot~

 And she found Anemones in bloom in different colors just outside the greenhouse.

 She was having so much fun taking pictures that she forgot to notice what this blooming plant was.

 She has  never seen a Primula this color before~

 Then she discovered the Orchids in another room!

 She was having the bestest time!

I didn't get to go with her but that's okay.   I had fun on our morning walk before she left for VanWilgen's!

Nature Friday

We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~

We have a yellow Iris blooming in our yard~

 We just love the pretty purple one~

 Mom bought a Moonshine Yarrow plant at the nursery a couple of weeks ago and it's in bloom now too~

 The wild Roses are blooming and they smell incredibly fragrant!

 The last time mom cut the grass, she noticed a most wonderfully sweet scent and needed to know what it was.   This tiny nothing of a flower is on the Bittersweet Vine.   Who knew that the flowers looked like this before we see the beautiful orange berries in the autumn~

Mackie Was Here

Mackie was here yesterday for groomies and afterwards, we both got peanut butter stuffed bones~

 When I got up to get my tennis ball, Mr Stingy grabbed my bone and ended up with both of them!

 We haven't had a Wiggly Giggly since angel Maggie was alive and because I'm very good about not destroying my stuffs, mom decided that it might be fun for me to have one -
only - I don't want Wiggly Giggly - I want my tennis ball back, Mackie!

Molly Monday

I had a bath on Saturday and I have to confess that I was watching the tub fill with water and I didn't mind having a bath at all! 
This morning on our walkie, I spotted duck poop in the middle of the street and I decided to throw myself down in the middle of the road and smear the poo all over the right side of my face.   Mom was most displeased with me and when we got home, she pulled me into the bathroom and filled the sink with shampoo diluted water and took a washcloth and scrubbed the side of my face until I was clean once again. 
What was so wrong with what I did, mom?    I knew you guys would understand.

 Today is a TEN!  The weather is just gorgeous -blue sky, low temps, no humidity and a beautiful breeze~

 There are twinsie Irises blooming in my yard!

 Life is good~

The beautiful breeze means that the bell chimes are ringing!

I hope everybuddy's Monday is going as wonderful as mine is!
