We've had a very busy day today. We were at Crumpie's all morning working and at noon, dad suggested that we have a picnic dindin.
We're picking up an egg salad sandwich and potato chips at this neighborhood grocery store and we're taking them to Crumpie's for our picnic.
All of the peeps coming out of the store were saying hi to Molly. She thinks they all came out just to see her! Oh brother!
Thanks for the egg salad. Can we please have a chip too~
We're on our way to Uncle Dan's. All of the bags in the back of our pick-up contain shingles that came off our roof and Uncle Dan lets us put a few bags in his dumpster every week.
I'm riding shotgun with dad and the girls are in the back seat.
We never mind going to Uncle Dan's because it means that the next stop is Durham to get ice cream!
What a fun-filled Monday we had!
We wish every day could be like today!
So until next time.........

The Results Are In
The test results have come back for my bloodwork and I'm perfect (I could have told them that) and the results for my bile acid test are perfectly normal.
So now we need to figure out how to get me to stop Airelicking~
A few weeks ago, I switched my kibble from Wellness puppy to Fromm puppy. I wasn't having the licky problem when I was on Wellness but I also wasn't teething.
Mom has decided to switch me back to Wellness to see if it makes a difference. So this is where we will start.
I got to go shopping with her today to get my Wellness and I met two pups from rescue that were looking for homes. I was very well behaved and so were they.
After our shopping trip, mom and I headed back to Crump's to give dad and Mitch a hand with our latest cupola project.
We want to thank you all so much for your thoughts and crossed paws and wonderful suggestions. We appreciate them all and we may be using them all in the coming weeks! Thank you - thank you!
Love ya lots,

AireLicky
Guess where I was today?
At the animal hospital.
I have this situation. After I eat my breakie and my dindin, I thoroughly clean my food bowl and Mitch's bowl and then for the next five minutes, I lick the Aire. Then I get a drink and I'm good with AireLickys till my next meal.
This has been going on for about 2 weeks. When it first started, I was teething so mom didn't think much about it but my weird behavior continued. Mom tried to google it but because of the word "lick" you can't imagine the porn sites we were getting. grrrrrrrr She even wondered if puppies my age could get bloat so she googled that too. The site we read said "at any age". YIKES! But it's not bloat obviously, thank doG!
So mom called my vet and tried to explain to her what was happening and today I had a blood panel and a bile acid test. We're not going to say what my vet suspects because it's stressful and I really don't have any of those symptoms and we don't think it's correct.
They told mom and dad that Monday, my results should be back and my vet will give us a call so in the meantime, we wait and cross paws that it's not serious.
It was my first time being away from mom and dad and Mitchy and I can tell you that I was very tired when I came home.
It sure is nice to be home! And it's nice to be missed.
We'll keep you updated.
Love ya lots,
Molly

Another Visit
We got another visit from Mr Chewy yesterday!
Poop bags?
We'll take the elk antler chews instead, mom. You can have the poop bags!
I got a hAirecut yesterday and I feel so much better! Mom didn't have to worry about trimming my beard this time. Molly did it for her~
Molly is giving me the stink eye because I have the antler bone that she wants.
Um, excuse me - have you noticed that you have an antler chew right next to your paw, Miss Stingy? Mom bought 2 of them - same kind - same size. One is a darker color than the other one. I guess that matters?
She'll steal it from me eventually. She always gets whatever she wants!
So until next time..........

Our Dad is Home
Wednesday afternoon, we got to go to Bradley International AirePort once again and this time it was to pick up our dad! Too bad that mom didn't bring the camera because I was so happy to see my dad that I was whining and I wouldn't stop. And dad was just as happy to see me, and Molly too, of course, but especially me. I'm his bestest buddy!
Dad did not come home empty handed. He brought goodies for us when he was in Amish country!
He was very tired when he got home but he still managed to let us know that he brought cookies for us - chicken wrapped cookies! yummmm
And this very cool leash~
Hey, Remington. It's got your name on it!
Mom shared treats. You're probably wondering why I'm poking my head through a curtain, huh. On the other side of this curtain is our family room and it's Aire-conditioned and it feels much better than our kitchen and hallway, which only have fans in them. But there is no way I'm missing out on any treats!
Molly blurred her picture because she was too quick at grabbing her cookie! Watch your fingers, mom!
Thank you so much, dad! That was very thoughtful of you and the treats are super yummy! We've decided to hold off on using the leash until Molly has finished teething so she doesn't ruin it in 10 minutes.
We love you dad and we're so glad that you're home where you belong~

Five Months
Hi everyone. It's me, wee Molly, only I'm not so wee anymore. I weigh 35 pounds! I'm five months old today, can you believe it!
See this heart-shaped wooden box. Mom and dad bought it on Nantucket several years ago.
Would you like to see what's inside?
It's my puppy toofies - the ones that mom has found.
Every so often, I do something that reminds mom of angel Maggie.
Maggie loved to nest. Nesting is rearranging my blankies to get them just perfect. Sometimes it takes me 5 whole minutes to get them arranged just the way I want them. Doesn't every female nest? Well, they should!
Mom says that I'm also very chatty. Sometimes for no reason at all (well, I have my reasons) I just start talking away. It's gotten to the point where mom stops what she'd doing, stares at me and talks back to me in Airedale chatter.
We really need to do a video, mom.
One thing that I LOVE to do is to walk underneath Mitch. I'm not really sure that he likes it but I really don't care. I do it anyway! It's a good thing that he's easy going and loves me. I can be sort of pushy at times.
I know I'm forever pulling at your beard and biting your legs but I really do adore you, ya know.
Love ya lots,
Molly

Back to Normal
Mom was at Agway yesterday and found a Himalayan dog chew that she thought we might like. It's an x-large size and it was $19.00 and she only bought one.
Miss Stingy latched onto it and growled at me if I even looked her way. How rude for a puppy to act this way!
Mom also brought home the new Kong squeaky bone.
She reminds me of someone I know when I was a wee bit younger. She thinks that everything belongs to her!
My limpies are gone and the MitchMan is back!
So until next time........

Grand Rapids
Guess who dad ran into on the sidewalk in downtown Grand Rapids?
I wonder who the handsome Airedales are? Dad didn't get any names.
Guess what?
Our dad won a silver medal for free-style swimming and a bronze medal for breast stroke! whooooooohooooooooo
This next picture is of our dad presenting his medal to donor moms, Barbara and Beth in memory of their sons.
Yup, that's our dad!
*
That's Patsy in the rowdy pants in the above photo. She won a bronze medal in golf! Congratulations, Patsy! Good job!
Congratulations, dad! We are so proud of you!
My limpies are improving. No more sling under my chest to support my weight. I'm back to being on my leash.
I'm checking for chippers. I love putting my snooter on his entrance hole and snorting down his hallway.
The doxy and tramadol are working miracles. I feel so much better!

Another First and a Positive
Our sissy was here for dindin on Thursday. This is Molly's first time meeting our sissy and the girls hit it off very well!
Mom made baked macaroni and they each had a slice of MaggieMeatloaf.
I have been having limpie issues and yesterday, I went to visit my vet. The stuck that horrible thing up my butt and stole my blood and rotated one of my ankles in directions that I didn't even know it could go in.
I'm Lyme disease positive.
And I'm on Doxy and Tramadol.
A third drug can be prescribed but mom needs a peepee sample before my vet will dispense it. If I'm spilling protein, this drug can hurt my kidneys so a peepee sample is a must!
It's pouring rain here and the stoopid office closes at 12:30 so me and Mom are under the gun!
I haven't peepee'd since 8 last night and I ate my breakie and drank water and mom keeps askin' me what the heck I'm waiting for!
Molly offered to peepee for me. That girl goes peepee 87 times a day!
Thank you, Molly but I think I have to handle this by myself.
Yes, mom, I'm ready to go outside one more time.
Update: We got our pee sample! yahooooooo
