Our New Year's Resolutions

We've never really made new year's resolutions before but we figure that maybe this might be a good year to give it a whirl.

Mitch and I have promised each other that we're going to try very hard to keep them!
You go first, Mitch~

1. I'm going to try very hard not to be so destructive! This is going to be a toughy because I'm really still a puppy but I promise to try, with lots of mom's help, of course!

2. I'm going to try not to antagonize Maggie so much! I shove stuff in her face all the time but I just wanna play! She gets mad at me sometimes. I'm sorry, Maggie! I'll try harder not to make you mad, okay?

3. Mom says that I need to eat more slowly so we're going to work on that! She's says that emptying my food dish in 30 seconds is eating too fast!

4. Dad says that I need to start peeing like a boy and stop squatting like a sissy! Okay, dad! I'll try real hard and make you proud of me, okay?

I guess that about wraps it up for me!

Your turn, Maggie~

1. I'm going to try my hardest to be nicer to the mailman!

2. And I'm going to try even harder to be more accepting of the UPS man putting his nasty dirty shoes on my back porch! grrrrrrrrrrrr I'm gonna try, I really am! I'm gonna try really hard!

3. I'm going to learn to love lemons! hehehe - this one will really shock mom! Can you see me puckering up already?!

4. I'm going to turn over a new leaf and stop yaking so much! Why should I waste my precious breath when no one appreciates it!

Mitch and I have a whole year to work on these resolutions so there's no time like the present to get started!

We also want to let everyone know that we're going to help out on the Beau mission too! We're not toopers in the Ao4 but we love Beau and want him reunited with his family!

Thanks to Ruby we now have our official helmets! Thank you so much, Ruby! With these helmets on our heads, we're on the job!

We're going to try our darndest! We'll leave no stone unturned, right Mitch?!

So get your mission kits and join us and help us find Beau! We want him home in 2008!

So until next time..............

Love ya lots,

Maggie

  1. Wow...look at that landsharking going on!!!

Those are some pretty ambitious resolutions...pawticularly for Mitch. I have an idea on eating slow...maybe feed Mitch from a treat ball...I used to eat like that until I could slow down...

Here's the one I used to use...

  2. me Lady~
You have some nice ones this year.I hope you make yours. Here are mine.

Get a girlfriend - Something in my brain switched in the later half of 07. I have no idea where to look or what for. Hopefully this will be one goal which I can achieve this year.

Do something musical - Learn to sing or play an instrument perhaps. Who knows, one day I may release an album!
Think before I bark- I’ve said some stupid things last year which could have avoided the effects which followed. Like crossing the road, I’ve got to think before I do it, and look both ways.

Upper Body Work - Over a period of 3 months, I managed to loose my puppy fat and gain a better figure. I managed to loose around 18 pounds, moving my weight from 160 pounds to 142 pounds. Now I need to work on my upper body. Toneing my stomach is the main goal, followed by pecks, then arm muscle. With constant work, this should be a possible task.
Promote my stuff - Try to get people around me who may be interested in my work to take a look. A few more comments would be nice. But you’ve got to give comments if you also want to receive comments.

  3. HI Kids. Wow, you have some resolutions that would be too hard for me. I am a sucker for the mailman AND the UPS man, and don't even mention the FED EX Man! I'm going to tell the kids that we better make our New Year's resolutions. We don't have much stamina, though. Maybe we should have a New Week resolution and go from there?

    Thanks for the barkday wishes!

  27. Maggie, you look sooo upset posing with your mailman stuffie, hehe! Why? I don't really like other doggies shoving things in my face too like Chloe but I don't get mad like you. But if other dogs hump me, then that's a different story. I really hope you both will be able to turn into new leaves. Good luck in searching Beau!

  28. Maggsie & MitchMan!

I LOVE the action shot of you two. Bitey face is still on the list of approved games for you guys, right?

You both have some tough resolutions. I'm not half the dog either of you are. Mitch, if you master being less destructive, I will PAY you to teach Stella. She killed Mr Carrot (I'll post more soon), and our new flamingo, Mr. Fuschia.

Maggie, I love to hear you talk, so talk away girlie. Why should you have to be quiet?

I DO wish you success with all of your resolutions!

    Goober love & smooches,
    Stanley

Thank you for joining the mission to find Beau. We are very grateful to you. Ruby Bleu is a good girl helping you with your helmets.
This mission will not fail. Supreme Commander Stormy is in charge and there's so much love amongst the A04 Troopers. Beau will surely feel this love, just as we do.
