Life Is Good

I really like sleeping upstairs!  It's nice not to be the only one on first floor and lonely~
Mom says that I'm the perfect girl!   Sunday night, it took me about 1/2 hour to settle down and go to sleep but last night I was quiet from the start.
 The only problem.....
Mitch hasn't slept in the bedroom with me since I've started sleeping upstairs.
Mom says that maybe this is a blessing in disguise until we all get used to this new life-style.
Mitch has a bed in our guestroom.  The guestroom used to be mom and dad's bedroom before they repainted, etc, etc, and Mitch  started out in this room with angel Maggie and mom and dad didn't want to tell him that he couldn't sleep in here anymore so they ended up just buying him another bed for the other bedroom.
Maybe tonight will be my lucky night and Mitch will sleep with me?  We shall see!

I also wanted to let you all know that my AireLickies are gone for good!  Soaking my kibble and making it soft was the answer and I'm so happy about that!
So until next time.........

Love ya lots,
Molly and Mitch

  2. That's great news about your air lickies and about sleeping upstairs. It's fun sleeping with the peeps, right? I hope Mitch will decide to join you - then there can be a party every night in there! Won't that be fun?!!?

  3. Tsar used to like having his own room at night, but the rest of us sleep in the room with Mom and Dad. Mom says we play musical beds all night ad we never wake up where we went to sleep.

  4. A bed time cookie or treat each night might help bring Mitch back - Mom always gives us one as it help settle our tummies for the night. We are so glad the air lickies are gone.

  5. Maybe Mitch is like Zim and likes his own space? Or then, maybe he'll get used to the idea of sleeping with everyone else - just give him time!
And YES - I like the idea from the Cowspotdogs -- bedtime snacks!!! We always get them (for the same reason!) and it also makes us run into the bedroom as soon as Mom says it's bedtime!

  34. Well......Mitch & Molly....even though I have been pretty much MIA fer awhile now, I did stop by and read a bunch of yer posts. The 2 of ya sure lead an interesting and exciting life...and I can see that yer a perfect fit in that family. It's great that ya can finally sleep upstairs in the bedroom....I will certify that it is super ta be sleepin' with the Ps.....of course then ya can guard 'em too....double duty...so ta speak. Glad ta hear that ya can do steps now and that yer AireLickies are past history. But how in the world do ya keep the white backs of those steps so WHITE? If they were here they would be full of scuffs, dings and chips......yer really neat Dales....

  37. Hi Molly, don't you worry, we are sure Mitch will soon realise it is much more fun to sleep together than be alone in the room downstairs. For now, he is just doing what he is used to. And may be he likes some 'alone time' and misses Angel Maggie.

We are glad you no longer need your crate...YAAAYYY!!!

How nice that your airelickies are gone. We have been thinking about that...if wet kibble does the trick, so be it. You can insist on different types of liquids to wet your kibble...milk,curd,chicken soup...Yum!

Wags n hugs, Buddy, Ginger, Shadow n Mummy

Walter-what an illustrious name for a pigeon. Glad u could save him. It isn't easy to bring up a bird without the mother.

  39. You can sleep in 30 mins, without feed? That's better than my baby!! GOOD GIRL Molly, mom must be so pleased! I wonder how Mitch would like to settle his sleep style though... You kids pose alike a lot these days don't ya. :))

  40. So, Molly, you were quicker to learn stairs, quicker to learn how to sleep like a good girl upstairs... Mojo says she's not surprised because girl Airedales have twice the smarts as their brothers.

We'd also like to confess that although Digger and Mojo have a crate each in the dining room, they also have a bed in the living room, conservatory, Dad's office and Mum's office. Basically it's a successful Airedale-colonisation plan. Gotta go where the mood takes you, right?

    hugs, the Aire-heads

ps Molly you look adorable in that last pic!
