We know that Dory is taking a break from Flower Friday because of the Pawlympics but we didn't want to miss a week of beautiful flowers.
Mom was almost too late with this shot. This butterfly is leaving the Butterfly Bush!
They just love the Coneflowers~
Twinsie butterflies!
The bumblebees love them too. The centers of the Coneflowers look soft to the touch to us but they're not. They're actually hard. Coneflowers have a pretty scent☺
If mom would spend more time back by the lumber barn, she might get a picture of a hummingbird coming to visit the Trumpet Vine.
The Phlox is coming into bloom. The butterflies love this flower too☺
Happy Friday, everyone!
Love ya lots♥
Mackie and Molly
Such beautiful flowers you two. Our butterfly bush is blooming but we're a bit short on butterflies as we are not having very summery weather!
ReplyDeleteThank you for thinking of us whilst we said goodbye to Ludo and for being Ludo's friend for so long. Sorry we are just stopping by now.

How pretty! We have many of the same flowers. But something is eating up the cone flower petals, and this endless hot dry weather is withering everything else, even with watering.
ReplyDeleteIt is a wonderful year for the black eyed susan and cone plant. The yellow finch are really enjoying eating the cone plant centers. We usually cut the spent flowers but the birds are enjoying the seeds so much. And the hummingbirds are enjoying our trumpet vine next to our porch. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend

We love "Flower Friday". Your yard is always so pretty, even in the heat of August. What fun to see the bees and butterflies on these lovely blossoms. Best wishes, from Marina and Daryl

Beautiful! Love the the butterflies, too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers and butterflies!! Just today we were noticing how many more butterflies we have this year than in the past! They are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWe love all the pink and purple flowers. Mom really misses her trumpet vine. It was on the pergola at the Maryland house and attracted lots of hummingbirds. She's tried to start one here, but can't get it to grow.
