We don't have much new stuffs blooming in our yard this week so mom brought the camera along on our walkies.
Mom had to look this one up because she didn't know what it was. We now know that it's Lantana☺
White Cleome with artistic duckies~
We found this evil-looking thistle~
We have been having a lot of rain and we found lots of mushrooms along our route.
You can't tell from the picture, but this mushroom was HUGE!
Squirrel alert!
This mushroom was growing inside a hole in the tree.
Our nutty mom thinks that mushrooms are just as pretty as flowers are.
I can't wait to get home and have a nice cool drink of water!
We had fun on our walk but now it's time for our cookie, mom!
Happy Friday, everybuddy!
Love ya lots♥

Some of those mushrooms DO look like flowers. Beautiful. Here, when the thistles are out, they are usually covered in Galahs, Cockatoos, grass parrots, eastern rosellas......
ReplyDeleteThat is a very pretty colored lantana. We have raspberry colored ones in the planters on the deck. They do very well here in the hot sun.

Those were GREAT pix -- and that last one of the two of you made us smile right back!
ReplyDeleteOur mom loves Lantana, but hasn't planted any recently. There is some down near the corner and Mom always smiles when she sees it -- such happy colors!

Your photos are amazing ! You're a wonderful photographer, and your pictures are always so clear and detailed. We're learning a great deal about all the beautiful things in nature ( including our very special 4 legged friends) from reading your blog. Thanks so much, with best wishes from Marina and Daryl :-)
ReplyDeleteYou have great places for walkies! It's funny we've hand Lantana here for years. At our old homestead mother thought of it as a weed. Now it is expensive in greenhouses. If we had only known. LOL.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.
Our Mama also thinks muchrooms can be soooo beautimous!!
ReplyDeleteWe love your flowers this week!
Smileys!

Those are all such pretty flowers and interesting mushrooms.
ReplyDeleteOur peeps like mushrooms too. They used to walk around the park looking for them. Now id they see any in our yard, they scoop them because they don't trust crazy Sidney.
