I did a bad thing. I stole mom's pretty wool pansy mat off the cobbler's bench and I pulled some of the pretty purple beads off of it. I didn't eat any of the beads. I just spit them out and she found them on the floor.
I'm sorry, mom. I didn't mean to do it.
I have so many bigboy privileges that mom forgets that I'm still a puppy.
Sunday morning, I got to go to the hardware store with dad.
He was shopping for plumbing parts.
Thanks for taking me along with you, dad. Now I don't feel so bad for blemishing mom's pansy mat.
Love ya lots♥
Mackie
We all make mistakes and I can tell you are very sorry. Just be extra good and I'm sure your mom will not be mad for long.
ReplyDeleteWhat Pip said. That good boy routine works with the moms all the time!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Mackie...you owned up to your mistake like a big boy and you offered a purrfect apology to your mom. She knows you are sorry and I'm 100% sure all is forgiven especially with that sweet face.
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your bffffffff
Mommas ALWAYS accept apologies if delivered with big puppy eyes and kisses. Don't worry about it.
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet, care and honest!!!! Everyone makes a mistake in life. Don't worry your mom will forget about it very soon.
ReplyDeleteRachel
Silly boy!
ReplyDeleteWoops!
ReplyDeleteAww you can't be mad at that sweet face! (for long, right?!)
ReplyDeleteHope you're staying cool!
Love and kissies, tula
Oh my goodness. I'm glad he spit them out. Did you yell at him so he wouldn't do it again?!! Did you make it? I've always wanted one. I am eclectic in my interests from Prim to Shabby and everything in between.
ReplyDeleteAbout the ceiling fan. I used to stand on the bed. But it's too wobble and harder for this older body to get on anymore. I just used my step ladder that I got free from the dumpster! It's one of those tall ones that has the pain can holder. It worked perfectly. I can use a bleach wipe on them now weekly (if I don't forget)
I'm about to post a funny Wordless Wednesday pic.

When will mommas learn if we could reach it, it's ours

Oh, no! We can tell that you're really sorry, though! :( It's all part of growing up, Mackie. Sometimes it's hard for us to remember everything isn't a chew toy. Like sweet pansy mats and err... silk scarves. (whistling innocently...)
ReplyDeleteAt least you spit the beads out and didn't get sick!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
We can see you are very sorry, Mackie and you did spit the beads out. We hope you didn't get in too much trouble...
ReplyDeleteSmileys!

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you were wise enuffs to spit the beads out, well done
Loves and licky kisses

Awww Mackie, you're still learning my little love and I know mom knows that ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's always the right choice, isn't it? Own up and apologize! However...I still steal stuff and take it under the bed...and I'm almost nine! Parental Unit is a very patient old gal:-)
ReplyDeleteWhat did you learn about making wise choices?
ReplyDeleteAll part of being a puppy, Mackie. We bet your Mom can stitch a few more beads right back on there.

Hailey wants you to know eventually the puppy excuse wears out and you have to try things like, I was scared, or a squirrel made me do it:) Enjoy being a puppy now!
ReplyDeleteSometimes that little 'puppy part' in us all, makes us do things we shouldn't. We're sure your mom forgives you.
ReplyDeleteWe are sure you did not mean to do it Mackie, and we see that you are very sorry.
ReplyDeletehugs

UhOh......Oh well. Think of it this way. You got to teach Mom something today. Bet she never does that again! And you were such a good boy for not eating the beads. Not much food value there....and they DON'T taste like chicken! :)
ReplyDeletewe all revert to puppyhood occasionally :)
ReplyDeleteOh well. I hope that any damage was repairable.
ReplyDeleteIt's OK every dog makes mistakes!
ReplyDeleteLouis Dog Armstrong
We know your mom will forgive you. You did a great "I'm sorry" face.
ReplyDeleteI'd probably do da same thing.
ReplyDeleteWe are pretty sure that your mom will forgive you...it happens sometimes with puppies...and you are still pretty little!!
ReplyDeleteOh oh.... don't you have those peeps trained yet? It took us a while to train Mom to put the remote up high. And when Fudge came to live here, Mom gave up stitching for four years. He liked to help.
