Molly Monday

I had a bath on Saturday and I have to confess that I was watching the tub fill with water and I didn't mind having a bath at all!
This morning on our walkie, I spotted duck poop in the middle of the street and I decided to throw myself down in the middle of the road and smear the poo all over the right side of my face.   Mom was most displeased with me and when we got home, she pulled me into the bathroom and filled the sink with shampoo diluted water and took a washcloth and scrubbed the side of my face until I was clean once again.
What was so wrong with what I did, mom?    I knew you guys would understand.
Today is a TEN!  The weather is just gorgeous -blue sky, low temps, no humidity and a beautiful breeze~
There are twinsie Irises blooming in my yard!
 Life is good~
The beautiful breeze means that the bell chimes are ringing!
I hope everybuddy's Monday is going as wonderful as mine is!

Love ya lots♥
Molly

  1. Molly you are so funny. OMDs I'm cracking up here. Angel Toto the mighty Mini dachshund truly loved a rub of road kill scent off the car tires or mystery poop. Sometimes a gal has to follow her nose not her heart.
    I love your chimes.

  2. I can never figure out why rolling in stinky goodness makes the humans freak out!

  3. I don't see anything wrong with you rolling around in duck poop. I'm just saying.

You're so cute, Molly. You need your mom to link this post to Awww Mondays. You sure do qualify.

Have a woof woof day, Molly. My best to your mom. ♥

  7. WE all got groomed at the vet's kennel last week, and to say the very least, Mom was so NOT happy with the way we came out. Damp and not fully blown - sheesh, that groomer was really dumb. But you look great and we don't understand why a little duck poop didn't just make it even more perfect.

  8. Does look like a TEN! Just a perfect day.

Don't understand the peeps. When Roxy rolls in something aromatic, she usually gets a hose bath....on jet!

  9. Love your mom's bells! As for you using duck poo for perfume, it's an acquired taste so try it again. Your mom might grow to love it as much as you do, Molly. Just don't tell her I suggested it.

  10. Sounds like you have good weather you're way. Still awfully chilly here. We had a tornado touch down in our town on Sunday but we were away and our house is just fine.

  11. Molly, if you eat the poop, really fast like, there's nothing the humans can do about it. BOL

  16. Oh boy! If we rolled in ducky poo, we would be in big trouble! Better try to stay clean for a while.

  18. Lulu: "I understand completely, Molly! I mean, I haven't had a bath here yet, but one does have to keep oneself properly perfumed."
Charlee: "By rolling in stinky things? Isn't that kind of weird?"
Chaplin: "Says the cat who likes to stick her face inside Mama's stinky shoes."

  19. Oh Molly you must not roll in things you shouldn't!!! Treacle does it to me all the time, she is just washed and clean and looking lovely and she then finds something horrible to roll in!!!!! Your day looks perfect and the Iris are just wonderful. Love the chimes. Hugs, Susie xx

  20. Well... it's one thing to roll in duck poop. It's quite another thing to EAT it and them poop it out the other end. That is an experience accompanying humans find quite disturbing. Believe me, it comes out like black tar and takes a mighty amount of bathing to deal with.
