We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~
First off, mom had an issue with small photos VS large photos. She figured out that she had added a photo file inside an existing photo file and that was not a good thing and she will be certain that it doesn't happen again.
We passed by these yummy mushrooms and I wasn't allowed to be anywhere near them. How rude is that!
We found beautiful mums in bloom~We found this beauty and mom didn't know for sure what it was so we looked it up. It's a Rudbeckia. We found hot pink |Asters~You've probably noticed that I wear different harnesses or training devices on different weeks. I'm still pulling mom along and she's not happy about it. She's deciding that the prong collar is working best so far. Mom says that Molly wore it and so does Mackie and so did Mitch so I might be stuck with it for a bit longer.Happy Friday, everyone!
Love ya lots♥
Duke
Hi Duke,
ReplyDeleteThat's an impressive mushroom cluster, and as ever, your Nature Friday blooms are lovely. But I do not like the thought of a 'prong collar' and hope you don't have to wear it for too long.
Toodle-oo!
Nobby.
Pretty flowers. We are not interested in mushrooms but sometimes they are interesting to look at. Nelson is a big puller. Yesterday he pulled Mom into some bushes that had berries and she got berry stains all over her shirt. Thankfully, Mom is pretty strong too and she knows he won't be pulling forever, but that is why if she walks more than one of us, she chooses the pair carefully.

ReplyDeleteMum is being cautious about the shrooms, Duke, and trust me, that's a good thing. Shame about the collar though. I hope you settle down soon. Hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx
You get to see the bestest Nature residents on your walks - and humans can be so challenging about pulling - we know the prong styles save so many humans -
ReplyDeleteMom made one of the green tomatoes last night - she improvised her prepping but they still hit the spot - I offered to help with the eating and she ignored me -
I'm glad she treated herself with the stained glass piece - it makes her smile when she looks at it -

You found lots of nice things Dandy Duke. Hey, walk nicely and you will get to go more often I bet!
ReplyDeletemilo will pull against the prong collar but less pull. Our prong collar breaks open when he jerks forward, so we put him in a harness plus the collar. He thinks no collar or harness would be best.
ReplyDeleteWHOOOOOOOOOOA that is a stack of mushierooms...best to stay clear.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing such pretty posies. Duke you are still a puppy so I expect before long you'll catch on to what is the correct way to walk Mom
Hugs Cecilia
What a beautiful collection of fall flowers today...and Mama really likes your mushroom cluster(she doesn't let us anywhere near mushrooms either).

Prong collar sounds a bit Mediaeval but given the look in your eyes in the middle pic (contemplating exploration or mischief) you might need the occasional reminder that you still have the humum attached. Very pretty photo selection as ever (and you do have beautiful eyes even if they are contemplating mischief)
ReplyDeleteDuke ~ you are handsome and having a good time with Mom in nature ~ lovely nature photos ~ hugs,
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

You found some beautiful flowers and cool looking mushrooms, Duke. Our parents don't like it when we pull on walks either.
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, those are pretty clumps of plants! The perfect size and shape for signing one's name, if one is a boy dog! Which we are ..."
ReplyDeleteLulu: "You've sure got plenty of bling, Duke!"
Mommy loves mums, and the shasta daisy looks great
ReplyDeleteAll the flowers are so pretty, Duke, especially the mums. We have two pots on the front porch that haven't fully opened yet. They are supposed to be Gypsy Rose Purple. Once they burst into bloom we will share a pic. Have a good weekend.

We love the flowers you found on your walk at the end of summer. Treacle used to pull on her lead terribly until we got her the nose halter and that stopped her and then we put her in a harness. Coco is completely different and she went straight into a harness and has been very good and not pulling at all, although she does change directions quite a bit which can be quite unnerving!! Hope the new collar sorts Duke out. Hugs & Love, Susie & Coco xx
