  1. It is a weird day for Mom as she was not living in the US when it all happened and then when she got Emma 9/11 was her birthday. Still it is a terrible thing that happened in this country and something that she still can't even imagine.

  3. Duke I will never forget. I had just 3 days earlier, returned from attending a work conference in Europe.
    One of my colleagues stayed extra days. She was flying home on 9/11 when all plans were diverted.

  5. We remember. I know exactly where I was. I remember the Commandant of the Armour School coming back into the theatre and he told us the world would never be the same, he said a plane had just flown into the World Trade Center. I remember thinking he meant like a Cessna or something like that. At lunch break, we watched the news and saw the second tower fall.
