Mom and dad were up early that day and we did get our walkies in but then things got super busy! We did have rain while mom and Missy and two neighbors were putting the tablecloths on the tables and moving vases of flowers from the barn to under the tent but it was okay! And we hear that rain is good luck on the wedding day so they'll have lots of good luck! Actually the rain didn't stop until 1PM - just at the right time for Missy and Jim to get married in front of the pond under the wedding arbor! There were TONS of people here! Dad brought us out for a pee break so we could see! We even got to meet the DJ! I sorta look like I'm being strangled, huh! oops! We were sorta excited! We've never seen so many people in our yard before!
We even got to check out the dance floor!
Even Jim came over to give me a pat or two and welcome me to the wedding! Doesn't he look so handsome in his tux? We don't normally see him looking so good! Dad either for that matter! We have to apologize because we don't at this time have any pictures of the bride. Mom only brought her camera outside once when we were out there but lots of guests took pictures and the photographer got TONS of pictures so we'll have to do another wedding posting so you can see me posing with Missy for her wedding portraits before she even left the house on dad's arm!
We leave you with one last garden shot~
Till next time..............
Love ya lots,
Maggie

Wowie Zowie, thanks for telling us about all your dogventures with the wedding! I think it's so cool that you even had the energy to blog about the festivities right after it all happened instead of waiting weeks to tell us all about it! Hey hey, smart move with jumping on Miss Karen and getting Chicken Marsala! I will have to remember to use that tactic next time I am at a party. By the way, if that is Miss Karen's bright red dress in the picture, you chose the right person to jump on. No dropped food stains are gonna show up on that pretty colorful dress! Can't wait to see more pics!
ReplyDeleteI just knew you'd get to go! You both look so excited, and dad and Jim look so handsome in their dinner jackets, can't wait to see your mum and Missy!

Beautiful clothes have a presentiment of happiness though it is regrettable that there is no photograph of the bride.
ReplyDeleteThe dog is carried to the wedding by the gentleman of the tuxedo.
And, the cake divides happiness into all the people and is given. :)
