True Colors Thursday - Rainbow

It's true colors Thursday here on Nantucket! If you want to be a part of this fun, let our hostess, Blue know!

Today's color is RAINBOW!

This blankie was crocheted by mom's great-grandmother for our sissy when she was born! We snagged the picture before we left home just in case Nantucket didn't have any RAINBOW!
The cradle has been in mom's family for years!
This is a painting of me and it was done by the famous, Miss Barbara a few years back! It's full of RAINBOW colors!This RAINBOW bag holds all of our personal items in it while we're here on Nantucket - toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo - the stuff that makes the hoomans smell good and look decent!
Mom has had this bag FOREVER!
This is a boutique shop window on Nantucket!
These balloons were in front of Claire Murray!
This was a menu in front of one of the restaurants along our walkie! Nope, we didn't eat there! Seeeeeeeeee, there's rainbow on Nantucket too!



Next week's color is mauve!

    That is a really lovely collection of rainbow colours. We love that blanket - our Mom croqueted one like that for one of our canine predecessors! It brought back fond memories.

    We SO need to visit Nantucket!! Your photos make us want to see it more than ever.
    Surprised not to see some rainbow sherbert as one of your items - I'm guessing it wasn't lack of desire, just lack of sherbert that caused this unfortunate situation BOL!

    Of course our favourite was the blanket - it was so pretty and so lovely because of it's history.

    Hello! We have been catching up on your blogs - and we are glad you are having a great vacation - looks like a lot of fun. D wants to know if there are a lot of Junk and Antique shops? She would go nuts...

    The blanket is divine (D's words) - she buys them whenever she can so we have quite the collection. She tried making one but it didn't end well.

    Love the Rainbow colours - love the painting too!

    Thank you again for all the support you gave when Paddy was ill - it meant a lot to us all.

    don't get too carried away on your holiday that you distract your hoomans when they're driving and don't lick too much wine when your mumster's not looking....

    when will you be home as i'm leaving for a beach resort next fri sept 11 ( .... very very sad day for mumster as she was in that place called NuuYoke on 9/11 )
