The quilting bee and mom are proud to announce their 2010 "A is for Airedale" alphabet quilt!
The ladies have been working on their blocks since Spring and the quilt is finally together!
Isn't it just gorgeous?! We're sorry that it's not the greatest photo - the real thing is 100 times better!
Isn't it just gorgeous?! We're sorry that it's not the greatest photo - the real thing is 100 times better!
Mom did the A block~
And also the I block~
And this is the picture that goes along with mom's bio~
You'll have to click on this link and then the A or the I block to read mom's bio!
Please check out the link so you can see all of the blocks up close and get to know the ladies of the bee if you'd like to.
There is also a bonus quilted wall hanging called "The Erudite Airedale" made by the very talented Joyce Miller and a second bonus quilt made by Aire-ladies from Australia. This wall hanging is called "Airedales Downunder"! Isn't it fabulous!
Each of these quilted beauties have so much time and love put into them and all of the money raised helps Airedales in need! Please help if you can and good luck if you do buy tickets!
Our paws are crossed and double crossed that we win one of these works of art!
So until next time..................
