I got to go shopping with mom yesterday!
We only had to go about one quarter of a mile before we arrived!
It's our local farm just up the street and they sell fresh veges, fruits and herbs there every single day!
Mom said the basil was making her feel faint because it was smelling soooooooooo good!
Is that all that you bought mom - just zucchini? I was sorta hoping for a healthy snackie right now!
Hi there! Are your hoomans shopping too? I hope you get a snackie because I got rooked!
We're on our way back home! We were only gone from home 10 minutes! We can't do much better than this for shopping, can we?!
This afternoon mom and I sauteed the zucchini with onion and garlic and we picked tomatoes from our garden and made a sauce to put on top of pasta for dindin! yummm
I sure hope I get to try some!
So until next time...................
Love ya lots,
Maggie
Maggie you have made our tummies rumble while reading this post. Looks so scrummy.

ReplyDeleteIf we're rememberin' correctly, we think we saw that Farm Stand and wished we could've stopped and loaded up with fresh fruits and veggies. That was about the time that we growled at Moma that there ARE some disadvantages to having an itty bitty car. (Oh how we wish we lived close to that market. Better yet. Oh how we wish we lived close to you. WE'D make sure you got plenty of good veggie snacks!)

ReplyDeleteFirst off, I checked out your quilt post... I love that idea and think all those ladees are really talented. That one lady lives in Oconomowoc- which mom says is not only a fun name to say but a fun place to visit. Lots of lake fun.how much did you raise so far? The down under quilt is super cool too.
Then you had LENNY come to visit? I think you are an official DWB visitor center. he looked super fun and cute.
And a trip to your local farm stand? we have so many over here too- they are great. Mom did a wonderful job with that zucchini but I'm still more impressed with your mini tomato catching.

Basil is one of my favorite herbs! You kids are always getting yummilicious din din!
ReplyDeleteVege stalls overseas are so inviting! Love your pictures of colors and display!
We go to the farmers market every Saturday am early. It isn't close at all!! I have really got into hot peppers. Last year we started growing jalapenos and this year we are growing cayenne too!! That stand looked like it had some great hot peppers. Your sauce looks lovely. I love having lots of fresh tomatoes on hand. I have been making lots of tomatoe sauce even for Bambi. Yes almost every thing has fresh tomaote sauce on it!! lol
ReplyDeleteXXOO, Bambi & Fern
