Hi everyone - it's me, Francesca!
Mom has been crocheting small granny squares like crazy and she's having lots of fun with this new challenging project of hers! It was starting to get to be mini-granny square overload here so once again, she asked You Tube for help and they showed her how to crochet all of her squares together!
So who gets the pretty new scarf, mom?
I think it looks best on me!
And Maggie thinks that because she's the oldest, she should get it!
I'm wearing the scarf on one side and we flipped the scarf on the other side for Maggie so you can see how it's joined. Mom says the granny squares were easy to put together because all you have to do is follow the holes already provided!
Mom says the scarf fits her quite nicely too and it's very warm - too warm for August!
We're thinking that it's going to become a community scarf and it's going to be shared unless mom keeps on crocheting more and more mini-grannies!
See you all next Wednesday!
Oh that looks lovely on you Maggie, tell your mom to keep going, you two might get a blanket soon!!!ReplyDelete

Your Mom is getting good at that crochet stuff. Don't let her tell our Mom about it. She already has all these things like knitting, sewing, cross stitch and reading. They all take up valuable dog time when she could be tossing the frisbee or doing something useful like baking dog biscuits.ReplyDelete
