It's me, angel Molly, reporting from the Rainbow Bridge. Mom has been working on a project for a couple of weeks. She's having a hard time, even though Duke is keeping her SuperBusy, with missing me. You all know that she was the one who groomed me for twelve years. She saved my black and tan furs and has put them in a cut glass apothecary jar and she surrounded it with my Poppy puppy collar and dog tags and angel wings and up on top is a small tennis ball bracelet with my name on it.
In the window is a suncatcher in memory of me and every time we have a sunny day, the rainbows on the living room ceiling are gorgeous and they make mom smile and sometimes she smiles through tears.
Hey, Duke! I never did the froggieDoggie before - ever!
I see you have a harness, Duke. I wore TrueLove harnesses too! I hope you get to go for walkies with mom soon. You will have a great time as the neighborhood is wonderful. I walked those same roads that you will walk for eleven years of my life.
You are in good hands with my mom, Duke, and you will have the bestest life ever♥

Dear Angel Molly, so nice of you to get in touch. Of course your mom will be feeling sad when she remembers you, as well as happy. That's the way it goes with humans I'm told. Gail said that I helped her a lot when she lost Bertie, even though I was such a naughty puppy, and we think it will be the same with Duke.

Nelson does the frog dog thing all the time and it is so funny. We girls only did it as very young puppies. Your mom is doing a wonderful job with her memorabilia from Molly. It is comforting to have her around both of you.

Duke that doggie frog pose with your looking over your shoulder is EPIC! I love it.
Angel Sis Molly is correct you are in the absolute best home EVER in Connecticut.

ReplyDeleteAngel Molly, you get an A+++++ for helping Dandy Duke find your Mom. And you know she is never going to stop missing you, but Dandy Duke is helping dry those tears. We hope you and Lightning found each other and are having fun there with all the other Angels. We wish our Mom would think about bringing us a new little one, but we don't that is going to happen. Maybe you can tell Lightning what he needs to do.

Please give her lots of strength with sweet memories of you. The sun catcher in memory of you is so beautiful, Molly. Though it made me cry too.
