We are joining both Rosy and Sunny this week for Nature Friday.
In our garden, the Coneflower is blooming~
Along our walk, we found wild Yarrow in bloom~
Mom found this flower underneath our Rhododendron and again on our walk. We had to look it up but it's in the Wintergreen family.
We are up and running on our new computer with Windows 11. Mom is getting used to it and things are going well except for downloading and dealing with the photos. What happened to placing pictures in their own dated folder like she had with Windows 10? She doesn't like her pictures in one big loosyGoosey batch. We need organization!
You should be able to choose what you do with photos you are downloading. Mom always gets to choose the folder she wants them to be in, just like in Windows 10. Try googling the issue, it often finds the solution. You may have hit the MS preferred download option by accident.
ReplyDeleteDuke I love the coneflowers. Never seen a yellow one.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mom is finding her groove on the Windows 11
She will be an expert in no time.
Love you lots too
Cecilia

ReplyDeleteYet again, you aced the nature walkies, Duke - with wintergreen flower was particularly interesting. Glad the computer is behaving. Mostly! Hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx
Lulu: "Those flowers are so pretty! And so big!"
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, our Dada keeps his pictures organized in folders by date, too! He is still mad at Apple for killing Aperture all those years ago and replacing it with the so-called 'Photos' app, which he hates and refuses to use!"
Happy Nature Friday Duke!
ReplyDeleteTell your mom well done with the new computer, and we're sure she'll get those photos all sorted out before long.
Toodle-oo!

Duke I started reading loving your flower photos then went into stress mode over the photo thing - I haven't ventured into Windows 11 world yet but definitely can't handle looseygoosey with the photos - must have dated folders.... oh woe is me.... can't wait to know what the answer is (before I too am forced to 'upgrade' as they call it.)
ReplyDeleteI'm resisting getting Windows 11 until the last minute. I hate change! Keep us posted on other things you like and dislike about the transition.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful flowers Duke...we especially like the purple coneflowers!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy and Sunny
PeeEss...We are an apple family, and actually have an external hard drive we store allllll Mamas pictures in(also in dated folders)
You sure found some pretty flowers around you, Duke. We're glad to hear your mom is doing well with her new computer.
ReplyDeleteI have them too. They are are pretty
ReplyDeleteI love the flowers you found on your walk, especially the Cone Flowers. I hate new editions of software because they change things just for the sake of changing them so I feel your pain. I hope you get things sorted for you. We hope you had a lovely weekend. Hugs & Love, Susie & Coco xx
