We are joining Rosy today for Nature Friday~~
In our garden, there are lots of Coneflowers in bloom~
EEEK!Moving on~~We discovered a downed tree branch belonging to the Mimosa tree. Mom always thinks of her Nonna when she sees one of these trees. Nonna had one in her yard and always called it "dirty" as the fallen blossoms made a mess.
A neighbor's yard is in full bloom!
And just beyond~A neighbor's yard is in full bloom!
Lots of clusters of Indian Pipes! We think these mushrooms are incredibly special.
Happy Friday, everyone!
Love ya lots♥Happy Friday, everyone!

ReplyDeleteEvery leaf and root of nature is special, Duke, and the Indian Pipes are a perfect example? Hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx
Hi Duke,
ReplyDeleteWe always love seeing your nature (yes even the snake...) and agree, those Indian pipe fungi are super special.
Toodle-oo!
Nobby (and Gail).
Some pretty flowers but we can't see snakes, they terrify Mom and give her nightmares. Thankfully we rarely see them because we always avoid areas where they are likely to be found.
ReplyDeleteDuke I love the Indian Pipes and most of all YOU
ReplyDeleteHugs Cecilia
Mom has seen a few here at The Khottage -:and some of their shedded'furs' in the neighborhoods streets! Snakes are good as long as they are the nice ones!
ReplyDeleteWe hope you gave a nice fun WEEKEND!

You found lots of pretty flowers and interesting things (like that beautiful garter snake) around your house, Duke. Thanks for sharing them with us.
ReplyDeleteWhat pawsome flowers today Duke, do you know they have Mimosa trees down here inNew Mexico? They remind Mama of the Mimosa Trees in her childhood home in NJ. Nonna was right though, they sure are messy.

Hi hi hi! Ojo here! You're the most handsome thing on this page, but your flowers are very pretty! However, I do not like snakes. They move funny! (Unless they are dead. Then they are good for rolling in!)
ReplyDeleteDandy Duke, you hunted up some pretty things except for the snake!
ReplyDeleteIndian pipes?? We have not seen those before. And yes, let's move right by that snake. The coneflowers are so pretty. We see them around our neighborhood too.

Snake! Run!
ReplyDeleteI am glad I don't got all of that in my yard
ReplyDeleteJava Bean (peering closely at snake): "That's not the one that got me either."
ReplyDeleteLove the flowers, not so much the snake! Those mushrooms are absolutely fascinating. We don't have anything like that here in the UK. Hugs & Love, Susie & Coco xx
ReplyDeleteGlad that you didn't go after the snake. 😫 I really should try Coneflowers. I love that Nature Friday teaches me about flowers and gives me such a healing time.

Julia🌼
