Nature Friday

Finally, at long last we get out for walkies!

I have been missing so many wonderful smells!

The only thing we found with any color on our walk was the Ornamental Kale.   Gosh, this plant has been through ice and snow and too much rain and still it looks great!   Mom says she NEEDS to buy one of these for our yard for next winter!
She's been missing flowers and color so she visited the greenhouse and came home with 2 African Violets and a Cyclamen.   Hopefully, she can keep them all blooming!
Happy Friday, everybuddy, and Happy February!
Thank you, Rosy and Sunny for hosting Nature Friday!
Love ya lots♥
Molly

  1. We are happy you are out walking even if there isn't a lot to see. The brown begins with b for boring here too. Thankfully we walk twice a day in all weather. Have a fun weekend.

  3. You sound so happy! ๐Ÿ’— Happy for your walk, Molly. The Ornamental Kale we have here comes in several types and colors, they last very well! I love Mommy's choice of African Violet and Cyclamen.๐Ÿ’— I’ve finally helped my Cyclamen survive this year, after many I’ve killed in the past. ๐Ÿ˜…

    Enjoy walking! Julia

  4. Molly and Sue double yays on walkies in the 'hood. The kale is such a pretty color.
OMDs I love Mom's indoor blooms. I think she has the perfect spot for violets.
I have horrible luck with them mainly because our house faces north. The only sun we get
is on the south side at the dining room window for about 3 hours.
Keep us posted on their progress
    Love you lots

  6. Lulu: "Yay walkies!!! Our Dada says he was eyeing some of that flowering kale in the supermarket, but since he was just going to make soup out of it, he bought the regular kind of kale instead ..."

Well done for getting out and about and finding some colour (and some interesting smells!) It's all a bit brown and grey here in Aberdeen at the moment.

  14. You always find something wonderful on your walks, Molly. That ornamental kale has such pretty colors! The only flowers we have are the poinsettias left over from Christmas.
