Remember the Button Bush photo we posted in July~

We also found pretty Cosmos flowers~
Mom was so happy to get a decent photo of the beautiful blue Chicory!
Looking into our woods, as we were almost to our driveway, can you see all of the apples? Mom is guessing that our tree has produced at least 400 pounds of apples and she knows this because she had to pick a lot of them up and put them in a large pail to move them to our small woods for the deer. She didn't want to drive over them and smash them cutting the grass. We see the deer all the time at Farmer Wills and we're wondering if they have acquired a taste for tomatoes too?

You all know how much I hate head collars. Maybe this one isn't as bad as the
Dogmatic, as this one lets me have more fun. Mom doesn't like it so close to my eyes so she was on the
2Posh2Pull website to see if the webbing could be narrower than what I have now and it can be! Lucky me - a new head collar is on its way from the UK!

Duke you're going to end up with a fancy imported head collar. You'll look truly handsome in it I am sure. The Button Bush is very interesting and I don't think I've ever seen one before. Last year our apple trees did terrific this year they barely had a few on it. I'm picking up walnuts now move them out from underneath the lawn mowing

those Button Bush flowers are amazing, Duke! We've never seen anything like that around here. We do have chicory flowers, though. As for Cosmos, which #1 loves, she remembers seeing them grow wild in mountainous areas in Japan!
