Fish Poppers

Back when I was recovering from my surgery, we got an email from Stanislaw and Big Pupi telling us all about fish oil and how beneficial it is so mom asked Stan and Big Pupi lots of questions did her homework and guess what came in the mail?Gosh, mom - do you think you bought enough or do we need more?!So right before dindin mom handed us each a fish popper! Stan and Big Pupi call them fish poppers so we're going to do the same thing! We didn't waste any time sniffing them to make sure they weren't poison or anything! We just swallowed them down, just like Stan and Big Pupi said we would!

In Stan's words, "It is important to include vitamin E with your fish oil, as it increases the absorption of the oil and does other good things when it comes to the metabolizing of the fishies." Okay,Stan and Big Pupi! We hear ya loud and clear! Don't they both sound like professors?! So mom bought us vitamin E to go with the fish poppers so I think we're all set for the next 5 years!

Thank you so much Stan and Big Pupi for your awesome suggestion! We'll let you know if our coats shine as pretty as yours do! But in the meantime - these fish poppers are really yummy! It's like having dessert BEFORE dindin

So until next time................

Love ya lots,

Maggie and Mitch

  1. Our mom gives us Salmon oil instead of fish oil and it doesn't taste so yummy. She puts one gelcap on our food and then disguises it with yogurt. Sometimes, I (Poppy) weed it out and leave it on the floor. We're going to tell her to go back to fish oil once she runs out of the dreaded salmon oil!

  2. G'day Pals
We have fish oil tablets everyday, though some days we have fish fillets or fish heads. We've been taking them for years. They usually are hidden inside some tasty morsel like a piece of sausage. We're glad you like taking them.

  5. We take fish oil capsules every once in a while but Mommy found something new for us & it's called Flaxseed! Oh, it smells just as fishy as fish. No joke! Okay, not a very strong smell but we love it! Faith would even eat a few spoonfuls just like that! Flaxseed is pretty cheap surprisingly & we found ours at an Organic shop & also at a shopping complex. It's good for blood flow, reduces cholesterol(pawfect for Chloe!) & it's a fat blocker or something like that. Flaxseed is something we recommend coz it's good for your diet! Even Oprah is eating Flaxseed & Dr.Oz recommends to everyone. BOL! Our hoomans will just put in two teaspoons full of blended Flaxseeds(must be crushed or else nothing will work) in each meal. We LOVE it! You must really try...

  9. Yup, we sometimes get fish poppers too.....don't you pop them between your teefs? They taste even fishier then, nom nom nom! If you're getting fish oil you need the Vit E but if you're getting the poppers aren't the cases made of Vit E anyway? Mum puts all sorts of seed in with our BARF, yum!

  15. We have those with our dinner. Foley gets three, Dawson gets two and I get one. Our fur seems to be much softer when the hopeless human remembers to put them on the kibble.

  16. Hi Maggie and Mitch! My mom gave fish oil to Freddie (the nice pup they had before me) when he was suffering from hip dysplasia. He was already taking several other things the vet recommended, but the fish oil did seem to help.

    See ya!

  17. Oooh! Delicious! We so totally dig our fish poppers. Give it a month or so to really show its true effects on your coat (the fur needs to grow out a little). I'm not sure if it's possible for you to be handsomer beasts, but it can't hurt!

    Happy fishy feasting.
