True Colors Thursday - Turquoise

We've never played the Blue's True Colors Thursday! This is our very first time! We thought turquoise would be a really fun color and we wanted to go on a house hunt to see what we could come up with!Check out my turquoise earring! I don't have pierced ears so mom sorta just laid it on my fur near my ear! Maybe I should think about getting my ears pierced? Mom does own a lot of earrings and she shares, not like SOME doggies I know!Mitch is stylin' with two of mom's turquoise rings! She tried to put one on each toe but Mitch wouldn't cooperate! Too girlie for him, I guess! This tea set used to belong to gram when she was little and now it belongs to mom!Gram and gramp gave this book to mom for Christmas ages ago when she was a youngster! The book is now an official antique! heheheheThis is the top of our country cupboard in the family room! Pay no attention to the dust! We're not expecting company so mom says there's no need to dust! It's one of her most hated chores! Dad and his buddies head to Maine a couple of times a year and dad always brings mom a gift. He's very thoughtful that way!

This is one of Carol Usher's WoolieDales and she's on the pretend beach with her turquoise beach blankie! Surfside is the closest beach to us when we stay on Nantucket for a week! Mom told us to hold off on the packing for now! We still have a 6 months wait! Hey, that was so much fun! Thanks for letting us play True Colors, Blue!

So until next time.................

Love ya lots,

Maggie and Mitch

  14. What a good job you did with turquoise! If we EVER get our house built, we might try playing along. Right now everything is in a jumble so it would be too hard to find colors. But you make the game seem so fun and interesting!

  22. Good blue stuff.I like the earring idea. Those nasty boy dogs at the dog park would surely pull them off though. Also---DID Joe Stains hear that the red birdies won last weekend?? 35. Good job finding all the great turquoise items! What pretty jewelry.

Our girl hates dusting too. Any time she thinks of buying anything, she asks herself "will I have to dust this?". If her answer is yes, she doesn't buy it. Good thing she doesn't have to dust our toys!

  36. What a fun game! Hehehe...can't imagine Mitch with the turquoise rings! Maybe your mom can get you some clip on earrings, Maggie.

  38. Maggsie & Mitch!

I can't believe you found so many turquoise things in your house. When we saw Blue telling pups that that was this week's color, we realized we'd be hard-pressed to find it around here.

We like the earring idea, as long as you wear post earrings and not dangly ones. Those dangly ones would get pulled out by Mitch & you know it.

    Goober love & smooches,
    Stanley

  40. Wow you did do a great job! We decided to give a great try next week for the color pink. However I am afraid all we will have to do is open our sisters closet and we won't have to go any further...hmmm. But we will get creative even if we have to paint the snow pink....
