Guess what? I'm one of the winners of Stanley and Stella's beard competition! I've never won anything before! I had some VERY stiff competition! I'm just so excited!
I was so overwhelmed to hear the news that Maggie had to pass an apple under my nose to revive me!
Thank you, Maggie! It's working! I'm feeling much better now!
And you weren't the only winner, Mitch! I came in 3rd place in the longest beard category! I had extremely tough competition with those beautiful Kerry Blues! I wonder if they'll tell me what their secret is?!
Congratulations, Persephone and Ms. Blue! What awesome beards the both of you have! Congratulations to all of the winners and all of the competitors! This was one fun challenge! We look forward to it again next year!I just got back from the vet's office and guess what? No more stitches!
We did get news on my booboo though. It was an auto-immune booboo, which means that more can pop up so Dr. A told us to be on the look-out! He did say that it was a good thing that we had it removed sooner and not later or that I would have been on steroids and at my age we surely don't want that! So now I need to concentrate on re-growing my eyebrow back!
Look what they gave me to munch on while I was in the waiting room! I got to chew on it for a little while before it got swiped away because I was bleeding on it! Mom said she didn't want it to re-open anything that the vet stitched! Mom promised that she'd save it for me and give it back in a few days!
I still have another 3 days on my antibiotics and I still have to eat mushy kibble for 3 more days but I don't have to wear a sockie anymore! Dad says that to celebrate what a good girl I've been we're going to go to Glenwood for dindin and then Wentworths for ice cream! yipppppppppeeeeeeeeeee
Mom says it's too cold to eat ice cream!
That's YOUR story mom! Mitch and I are siding with dad!
