Mom loves meatloaf and she used to search and try out new recipes all the time looking for that special one that she could call her own!About 8 years ago mom found the pefect meatloaf recipe in Ann Landers column in the newspaper and she couldn't be happier! We're going to share that recipe with you. Mom calls this recipe:
Awesome Meatloaf
Mix together 1 egg, 3/4 cup of breadcrumbs, 1/3 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup of warm water and half a package of Lipton's Onion Soup Mix. 
The bacon adds a fabulous flavor to the meatloaf but it does not crisp! Maggie and Mitch wanted to let your hoomans know that if they hate limp bacon then there is always your best furbuddy to share that bacon with! *wink wink*

Our mom says she needs to try that recipe. Dad told her, one time, that her meatloaf is so good that they should only have it on REALLY special occasions...like their 50th wedding anniversary. Obviously, he was being sarcastic!

mmmmmmmm, that meatloaf sounds yummy. The best part is the message from Maggie and Mitch because Mom and Dad don't like limp bacon and I don't care about the crispiness of my bacon!

That bacon looks pawesome! I love watching my girl cook, don't you love watching yours? I'm her biggest fan. When she makes meat loaf she doesn't have the patience to make one big loaf that takes a hour to cook. Instead she makes mini-meat loafs in a muffin pan. They only take 20 minutes!

Ooh...that sounds like an AWESOME recipe, Autumn! Thanks for sharing it with us! I think we can get most of the things here, except for the Lipton's Onion Soup Mix...can we use other substitutes for it? Mom says the only thing the Lipton brand sells here is tea. o.O"
