It arrived a couple of days ago! We tried to get mom and dad to make some popcorn to go with the movie but they didn't buy the idea! Bummer!
This is our buddy, Kong! Isn't he handsome! Mitch and I actually thought that the movie was too focused on the hoomans and not on the dogs! Kong did meet up with a Border Collie friend who looked just like our buddies, Fenway and Holly and Zac so that part of the movie was really fun and interesting!
Then the unthinkable happened! Mom looked over at Mitch and he was out like a light! And she glanced down at me and I had my paw over my ears!
Mom and dad definitely got more out of this movie than we did! Stella, the star of the movie, wanted a life and what she got was a dog! A giant stray dog, named Kong, appeared out of nowhere and adopted her. Mom and dad thought the movie brought out lots of different emotions. It was funky in lots of spots and humorous from time to time. It was an okay movie!
If anyone would like to see it, let us know and we'll mail the DVD to you so you can watch it too!
BTW, the Italian pastries are now all gone and guess who didn't get any?! Yup, you guessed right!
So until next time..............
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
No popcorn AND no Italian pastries? What are your pawrents thinking? Maybe they will get you some pizza and ice cream to make up for it!

Hey, Maggsie & MitchMan!
ReplyDeleteWhat is UP with your mama and those pastries?! There were obviously enough of them for you to at least get a nibble. Your mama must have REALLY loved those things not to share with you. Usually she shares very well with others.
Sorry you didn't like the movie. Like most movies I've seen, it's a little too anthrocentric. Hoomans just don't get it sometimes.
Goober love & smooches,
Stanley
Yup, I am gonna pass on this one too. Unless of course, your mom will send one of those pastries along with it.
ReplyDeletegussie
Not the best start to the weekend lol. Maybe popcorn would have made the movie more interesting.
ReplyDeleteSimba x
No pastries? That bites, the popcorn not so much though. Have a great day, and I would have fallen asleep too. =)
ReplyDeleteAwww...sorry to hear you didn't get to taste the pastries! But the movie sounded cool though! I wonder if they have it here as well...maybe I should get Mom to watch it with me. Hehe! Hope you have a great weekend, Maggie & Mitch!
ReplyDeleteScottie
That is what H-Mom does any time Man-dad puts in a movie. And he keeps saying "are you SLEEPING?" and disturbing her ... so now she lays with a pillow over her face and turning away from him so she can snooze on the sly. Like that FOOLS anyone.
ReplyDeleteHi, Maggie and Mitch!
ReplyDeleteYou can't watch a movie without popcorn!
I agree with our friends. You need ice cream and pizza to fix that!
Kisses and hugs

Every time Sherry makes popcorn, she "accidentally" drops some on the floor and I vacuum it right up. Yum!
ReplyDeleteAlanis
we thought the movie was more about the humans than the dogs too, and some parts of it made us sad. we're glad you guys got to watch it. that's a bummer about the popcorn. we didn't get any either.
ReplyDeletewoofs.

Maybe if your mom and dad had shared those pastries with you, you would have been able to stay awake for the whole movie!
ReplyDeletePlay bows,

Don't be silly guys. DVDs aren't for WATCHING. The DVD cases are for CHEWING!! I suggest you get to work.
ReplyDeletePals, you fell asleep during the movie hehehehe that's something we'd do to. Was the movie sad at all?
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Italian Pastries, D & B were invited to a garden lunch yesterday. There friend is Italian and they finished the meal off with...you guessed it...pastries....and they think we need to diet.

Popcorn is a 'must' when you watch DVD. :) Italian pastries are tasty. The picture of the yummy Italian pastries you posted looks good but they are all gone?? Do you think you will get some again soon??? :)
ReplyDeleteMomo & Pinot
Humph! I guess I know what you two think of that movie. I'll stick to watching the grass grow.
ReplyDeleteAnd what's up with the not sharing of Italian pastries?
Slobbers,

My Jeannie only has to hear the DVD machine clicking in and she is in the same sleepy state as you two!
ReplyDeleteHence she has never actually seen many movies!!
Have you seen the commercials for that Hotel for Dogs?? We are trying to figure out a way to sneak in to see that movie! Sorry yours wasn't so great.
